Disney Pixar Slow Cooker, 7 quart, Black

Love this slow cooker so much I bought a second one to stash as a back up! The adorable factor is off the charts with this product. The Disney-Pixar character faces are so much fun to see when cooking. Something to keep in mind is this is a very BASIC slow cooker. There are no timers, alarms, or any other do-dads that a lot of the newer slower cookers have. There are four settings: OFF, WARM, LOW and HIGH which can be selected with the very cute red rocket ship knob. There is an instruction manual but again it's very simple, no recipes included. The power cord is on the short side but I believe that is a standard safety measure to prevent it from falling off or being pulled down from counter tops. The unit itself feels very sturdy and well made. I've used it twice since I bought it and it's cooked both meals perfectly and the insert washed up very well. The glass lid fits as it should and created a nice seal while cooking. The signature Pixar ball completes the top lid and just adds another level of detail that Disney does so well. It's well priced and affordable and I would definitely recommend this product to any Disney fan.UPDATE: 10/3/2016 I use this slow cooker weekly and it has always worked as it should, never any issues with burning food, evaporation or ill fitting lids. When it is in use I am using it mostly for all day cooking, meaning on low for 6-8 hours. There are a few times I've used the high setting for an hour or two to bring meats up to a higher temperature quicker and I've never had a problem. I am still very happy with this purchase. Just a note, I always hand wash the stoneware insert and the lid.

If you're looking for a cute, easy-to-use kitchen staple that will not only make weeknight dinners easier but also give you a hefty dose of the warm-n-fuzzies just by sitting on your kitchen counter, look no further. My husband and I are huge Diseny/Pixar fans, so we ended up purchasing this purely for looks alone. But as it turns out, its actually a very nice slow cooker. We actually cooked our Thanksgiving turkey (breast only) in this crock pot, and it came out so well that we plan to do the same thing again this year! We use this slow cooker at least once a week. The "HIGH" setting is powerful enough that I can throw in some chicken when I get home from work, and have dinner ready in just a few hours. I love that the lid is completely removable, and both the lid and the base are so easy to clean. I just throw both in the dishwasher and they come out sparkling! Because the lid is totally separate, we often use the entire thing as storage for large batches of soup and chili. If you're looking for a cute gift, a large slow cooker for easy cooking, or are just a huge Disney/Pixar fan, I highly recommend this product! I actually planning on buying two more as gifts this year!

This is a truly great deal. While visiting my parents at their summer trailer my mom realized she hasn't brought her crockpot. Looking around online for one large enough to hold 50-75 meatballs, small enough to keep at the trailer and not insanely priced was frustrating till I found this. It fit all of my requirements and exceeded my expectations. This thing is perfect if all you want is a slow cooker. We kept it on high all day because we had guests coming by at all different times and needed to keep adding meatballs. They were previously cooked so it only took this little treasure 15 minutes to heat them through. Even at a high temp for a long time it didn't scorch a thing. Cleaning it was easy. Just let it cool down then wash with soapy water. Plus it's super cute with all the Pixar movie characters decorating it's outside. I loved it so much I bought myself one.

I bought this because my crockpot was stolen from an event. I know no one else would have a Disney themed crockpot. Works well and I get a lot of compliments on it!

When I tell you I won gift of the year I mean it. This thing is so cute and when I bought it I only paid $27. It was the perfect house warming gift and I would 100% recommend it for a Disney lover. I struggled to find the right gift and as soon as I saw it I bought it. The receiver loved the gift and places it on her limited counter space which says a lot these days. I would buy it without question.

Works as good as any other crockpot, but it's absolutely adorable. I posted a pic of it on Facebook after I got it for Christmas and all of my fellow Disney buddies wanted to know where I got it. Huge Pixar freaks in our family, it's a fun way to show our fandom. Wish there were more products like this for my kitchen. LOVE IT!UPDATE: I still love this crockpot. But there may be an issue to be aware of. I used it the other day, then took the ceramic crock out of its base to clean it and noticed one of the screws on the bottom has corroded. Like batteries do. There was no liquid in the base (unless condensation?), I can't see any valid reason for it.Then when hand washing the crock I notice it now has hundreds of teeny, superficial cracks in it. I'm wondering if the corroded screw was to blame? I can still use it, as I said, the cracks are very superficial. But I am worried it will eventually crack and break. If it happens, I'll be sure to update my review.

I absolutely love this crockpot, works perfectly. Unfortunately I accidentally broke the crockpot insert and would really love to replace it. I don't see a spot here to ask a question so I will ask here. Is there anyway I can order a new crockpot insert from you please or to be able to direct me to where I can buy a replacement insert. Thanks a million in advance this was a gift that I really don't want to lose the use of. Hands down best gift I've ever received!!!

This is absolutely the most amazing thing in my kitchen!!!! I have showed it off to everyone! It’s a big size too! I’m in love & my children love it too! This is a must have for any Disney lover out there!

A crock pot works or it doesn't. This one works and the button is a rocket ship and Im the biggest baby ever I love it forever.
