Worked to allow me to disable local dimming on old LGC9 55inch .. this screen is only used as a computer monitor and is already set to fairly low OLED brightness, so being able to disable local dimming fully is essential for comfortable experience on PC . Obviously if using for PC monitor make sure you have set logical times for screensaver and screen off to engage when away from PC . As auto dimming is a screen protection feature after all ..

Worked perfectly, needed it to access the service menu on my LG C1 to deactivate the TSR that auto dims dark content and to deactivate the GSR which dims the screen from HUD elements in games. It’s a shame LG did not also roll out the update that fixed this issue on the CX and C1 but thankfully they did for the C2 and beyond.

Feels solid enough, not slippy like a lot of the ultra glossy remotes. It's got all the necessary buttons (and loads more that I will need to research). It absolutely feels like more than £7 worth! And being able to sort my TV out has made it even more of a bargain.

Good remote, however, it lacks a back button. This makes it frustrating to use. Sure it is designed for tweaking the engineer settings for the TV, but no back button means it cannot be used for normal tv functionality.

I bought it to access the menu of my LG TV LG49UM7100PLB, because the automatic dimming was running me crazy... <start rant> never again an LG TV, brightness of the screen is automatically lowered because of reasons, but with a delay of 1 or 2 seconds... exhibit A, if a movie goes from a dark scene to a bright one, after a couple of seconds the bright scene becomes a bit darker ... exhibit B, if in a game you are in a dark room, brightness is further lowered just because, making impossible to distinguish objects. It cannot turned off, it's just annoying. <end-rant> Dimming cannot be changed in the standard settings, so here the purpose of the remote! IN_START, insert code 0413, disable dimming! (It still is there, but in much lesser form) This remote made the TV way more usable. But surely I won't buy LG anymore. And online is full of people with the same issue, just LG doesn't care about customers, apparently...

Worked perfect with LG oled65cx

Bought this to ‘fix’ my top of the range 65” LG CX OLED Television which has a bug whereby auto dimming would ruin the viewing experience. This remote allows access to the service menu with its ‘IN START’ button, enabling me to disable this broken feature and essentially fixing my £4,200 TV!

Perfekt, man kommt sofort in das Servicemenü!!! Ein paar Codes muss man schon ausprobieren (einfach "googeln"), aber wie gesagt, ging problemlos!> Man solle aber wissen, was man da verstellt > sonst hat man schnell einen "Briefbeschwerer..." 😵‍💫. Aber, zum Kalibrieren > Weisspunktabgleich und so perfekt. Geht auch für ältere LG Tv's - 2020 OLED erfolgreich eingesetzt. ps.: auch interessant > man sieht die Betriebsstunden vom TV...😎
