It says that it would take at least 4-6 weeks for this product to really absorb is there anyone still taking this product since 6/2013 and it works.

I've been taking 500 mg L tyrosine for several years at bedtime and it still works perfectly. I don't take any other neurotransmitters with it. I do exercise several days a week at a gym for about 45 minutes for good health and social interaction and I believe it is this combination that keeps me mentally and physically fit. I am 81 yrs old.

Are these in capsules that can be opened to do small doesage?

My Dad is a pharmacist and he always told me you should never open a capsule. They are designed to dissolve at a certain part of the digestive tract for delivery at the best place for absorption. By removing the granules from the capsule and taking them or putting them in a different capsule you change the delivery.
