These voltage reducers are being used to allow me to use a 12v adapter with my coleman inflatable mattresses. The idea being to skip the use of 4 D batteries (weight). The modification allows me to use my Jackery to power and inflate the mattresses when camping while avoiding the issues with D batteries, both the weight and chance of them giving up the ghost at the wrong time, ie. while camping.... Excellent value and looking forward to many camping trips.

I used this to custom wire for my e90 a wireless charger. I had tapped into a 12v power supply and needed to step it down so the wireless charger could use it. This worked perfectly on my install.

The fourth picture in the product listing, entitled "Connection Method" has two errors; 1) the small print next to the "OUT" yellow and black wires says they are input connections, but they are output connections. 2) the specific location of the wires on both reducers I received today (see attached picture) are flipped from what is shown in the fourth and fifth product listing photos. The good news is the reducer works great, returning 6.04 VDC from 12.0 VDC, allowing me to run the original fuel gauge in my '57 Volvo.
