Mikrotik 48POW Full power 48V Power supply + power plug

Alimentatore completo di cavo con spina italiana. acquistato per alimentare un poe injector a 8 porte. ha un output di 48v 1,46A.

I am running Ruckus R710s, H510s and the new 48V PS powered the Access points w/out issue. This upgrade was suggested when purchasing the Microtik as the PS that comes with the unit would not work.

What this adapter really is, is a way for Mikrotik to deceptively price their CRS112 (and similar) PoE switches lower than they would be able to if they included these adapters with those switches. Take the CRS112-8P-4S-IN, for example. The MSRP is $209 USD. Often it can be found for $190 or less. That sounds pretty appealing for a compact 8-port PoE switch, until you find out that it can't actually provide PoE without a 48V 1.7A (or higher) adapter....which is not included with the product. The included 24V adapter will work fine, it just won't allow the switch to provide PoE! You need this $60 add-on for that! So essentially what you've got then is the non-PoE variant of the switch (CRS112-8G-2S-IN), a $153 USD product, but paid ~$200 USD for the privilege of being able to further purchase PoE capabilities with this adapter. I'm not sure adding PoE is worth effectively double the cost. The small silver lining though, is that you can likely find an equivalent 48V 1.7A+ DC brick for $20 USD. Still not amazing being jerked around like this by Mikrotik, but it's better than wasting the extra $40 on their power adapter!!
