Absolutely amazing find. Lattafa brand has certainly caught my eye. I got their Opulent Oud one too (fab again) and ordered 3 more. This ones a perfect oud wear for office. Subtle yet long lasting. V Promising Scent-- needs 3wks to 3mths to macerate and mellow
Lattafa Velvet Oud: Arrived on time, authentic product. Like any popular Lattafa product centered around oudh, this one will need to mature/oxidize for 3wks to 3months. This one must've been recently bottled. Currently, this smells like an upscale tire center that sells loose leaf black tea and someone walked by wearing citrus cologne. A headache inducer right now, i won't lie. However, this is going to mellow out beautifully, all my Lattafa oudh perfumes, have mellowed out beautifully. Give it this time before making a decision! The impression of the scent, after 3wks of oxidation is started with a few initial sprays, is the only one that will matter. And it will get better and better over time.
