The SoLoMan King Stove is the Largest Stove of SoLoMan Wood Stove Series and a must have for all serious backpackers, survivalists and campers. This Stove is a unique wood burning stove that incorporates a secondary combustion for a more efficient and cleaner burn. The bottom vents allow air to enter and flow up the bottom of the grate to feed the primary combustion, a top down smolder. In addition, air entering in from the bottom vents heats up within the inner wall and rises up and out the top vents causing a secondary combustion at the top of the stove. The SoloMan King Stove actually cooks the smoke out of the wood and then burns the smoke not once, but twice! This technique makes for a cleaner burn which means less smoke and higher efficiency. Our stoves cook your meals with nothing but the twigs you collect on your journey, eliminating the need for heavy, expensive, polluting petroleum gas. It's easy to light, fast to boil and clean to use. You'll use fewer twigs to achieve a boil and less smoke while cooking. The SoLoMan King Stove only weighs 1.15 pounds and eliminates the need to carry fuel canisters - a great way to lighten your load. It also nests inside most pots leaving you with more space in your pack. By using renewable resources for fuel instead of petroleum, you're reducing your carbon footprint. You'll also keep fuel canisters out of the landfill. Also the SoloMan King Stove is great for emergency situations. Don't hesitate!
This stove is, in every way, in my opinion, equal to or better than the Solo Titan which sells for $110.Got up this morning and took this out to the patio at sunrise with a big handful of sticks and had water boiling in less than 10 minutes of taking the stove out of the bag. Kept the fire going for about 2 1/2 hours by slowly feeding it more from the same single handful of twigs, breaking them down to about the size of my pinky finger to maintain a nice hot fire, which really does burn cleanly due to the secondary combustion from the upper air channels, which you can observe as it happens.Because of the swivel-out "feet" to support the cooking vessel (which the Solo Titan does NOT have) you can put a fair size pot on the stove with confidence it will not fall off.All in all, a really well engineered piece of equipment which does not require you to carry fuel in your gear. The handfull which kept this going for more than 2 hours took about 10 seconds to gather from the lower branches of a fir tree.I paid full price for this stove and am not compensated for this review in any way.

Exact Same as Solo Titan, $60 less.
Saw the Solo Stove Titan on YouTube, and realized that it was a bigger version of the same off brand chinese made twig stove that I had bought a year or two ago, which I love.Did some digging and found that the $90 Solo Titan was made in China, so Solo can kiss my buttocks. I spent 60 bucks less and bought the SoLoMan stove. It fits perfectly in my Zebra Billy Pot, and that was another 30 bucks cheaper than Solo Stove's chinese made pot (though admittedly heavier). And my Zebra is made in a country that is not run by a demonic communist dictatorship hell bent on destroying the United States. Win!The SoLoMan is more than likely made in the same factory as the Solo Titan, and from what I've seen in videos and photos, it's the same stove. The Exact Same Stove! For 60 bucks LESS! So all that, and you get to stock it to a US company that sent their production to China and still expects to get top dollar for their product. So get this stove. I love it and use it all the time. They're easy to use, they cook a lot of food, and they use hardly any fuel.

Outstanding quality!
Very well made, sturdy and clearly built to last. Packs up nice, comes with mesh bag. Would be really cool if they made these in titanium to save weight, but then of course it would cost way more. As is, it's not too heavy or noticeable in the bag, even with a lot of other gear/food/clothes/water, etc.I put this in my camping gear bag/survival/freak-out bag, and haven't had a chance to use it yet, but judging by the high quality fit and finish, and nice stainless steel construction, I have no doubt whatsoever this will perform admirably!I spent some time comparing lots of portable wood stoves on Amazon, and was leaning towards buying one in titanium, or one of the fancy folding metal ones. But the average price for those was $60 -100+. And looking at the dimensions many were quite small, so it would be a chore to constantly be feeding wood to keep them going, obviously. The Solo Man King Stove is much bigger than a lot of those wimpy ones, but it's still not like adding a brick to your bag. Just a nice size that can definitely hold enough wood to burn a while on its own without micro-managing it! Also big enough it can probably serve as a clean burning alternative (less smoke is what I mean) to a big campfire, for 1 or 2 individuals. Though you'd probably have to huddle around it fairly close compared to a campfire, but this would help if you want to keep sparks and smoke to a minimum in your campsite.I agree with other reviewers...if you compare this to the solo stove titan, this is almost identical.Solid piece of kit and highly recommended for camping gear, survival bags, etc. Could even get several and use them as patio torches in the backyard, if placed on non-burning surfaces like rockery walls or concrete!Unless you're set on buying something in titanium, or really small, this is probably one of the top deals on Amazon.I paid full price for mine on Amazon, and am not one of those weird, mysterious cheapos that "received the item for free or a discount...blah blah blah"...lol. This is real. Big Amazon customer here, I buy all sorts of stuff on Amazon all the time. Now that I've written a freaking magazine article on this thing, I'll just add once more, that the only way this could be more awesome is if they did do it in titanium. All my camp cook set is titanium (pot, pan, fork, spoon, knife set, all Toaks brand).*** update: used this stove on a camping trip this weekend at Lake Kashee in Washington. This thing really works well once you get it lit. I boiled water very quickly, within minutes. This allows you to whip up a multitude of fast meals where you just add hot water, like instant potatoes, Knorr's rice and pasta sides, ramen noodles, etc. And you can definitely do all sorts of other cooking with it, too.Added a pic of July 2017 camping trip with SoloMan stove.

Not worth the extra money in comparison to other stove
Although this is a nice stove and works well, I was expecting it to be a lot bigger. I also bought the CANWAY Wood Burning Stove for just under $14,- which is the exact same size in diameter and the difference in length is minimal (see pictures) Would recommend to buy the Canway instead..

Nice little portable stove
So I purchased this stove awhile ago and at first I didn't really have much of a chance to use it properly. Now that some time has gone by it is a permanent fixture in my out door travels. I take it out on the yak, into the backwoods and the back yard. I will be taking it out on my first motorcycle camping trip as well.Pro's: light weight, very portable, multi fuel capable, super easy to use, cools down quickly after use and looks pretty cool tooCon's: works ok with twigs but they burn up quickly, not sure how long the satchel will last, canvas would have been a better choice of material. All in all it's a good buy I would recommend this stove to hikers, backpackers, kayakers etc...

Very efficient uses a small amount of wood
Wonderful little stove. Successfully boiled 3 and a half cups (28oz) of water within 5 minutes my first time messin with it using a very small amount of wood. Theres a ton of these on amazon, this is the larger one as advertised. After using this i wouldn't mess with a smaller one. Built decent, goes together easy and packs down nicely, just cleaned with a dry cloth after..soap and water removes any black soot leftover.
