So this is super soft. When our son puts it on it is not cold like fresh cotton, nor hot like fresh fleece... it sits somewhere in-between. We loved this enough we both a few more. The Sleeves are NOT super tight! Have you noticed that with little kid PJs that the arms are tight, and for a child who as more muscles in their arms than average it makes the shirts in the PJ sets uncomfortable... you won't find this here. The sleeves are not billowy, they are just not so tight they cut off circulation in the arms. My son loves this and the train motif. I will say to watch it though, the size 5 fits closer to a size 4

My son wears these all the time, and they have tested the time of the washer and dryer. They barely have shrunk! Great pjs!!!
