I’m very happy with Scotts Green Max Lawn Food. After applying it, I noticed my lawn becoming noticeably greener within just a few days. So far I think this works great on my yard. My yard has always been neglected all these years and recently this year I wanted to have a nice green yard. My yard is a mix of bermuda and St Agustine grass. The bermuda seems to have been taking off this year with the good rain we had in Spring. But the bermuda has always been a light color green. Same goes for my St Augustine under the tree area. Grass always looks like a pale color green even with a lot of watering. Followed the instructions on the bag (not even sure if I had my cheap spreader on the correct setting) and applied it to my yard early in the morning. I did a good water in and the next day I could say my grass was looking much greener! Some of the light color patches actually looked green... Maybe it was my eyes playing tricks or placebo effect, grass sure looks much better. Now 4 days in and I have to say my yard has the greenest grass on the block! While it's not a deep rich green that I was hoping for, but I'm sure it's just the grass type that I have. Also the bermuda seems to have taken off with the runners spreading and covering the bare spot patches in my yard since I applied the Scott's Green Max So far I'm very impressed and satisfied with the results. My lawn was never really taken care of and I've never used any fertilizer/products till now. Never done a soil test. I'm sure my lawn was missing a lot of nutrients needed for a good lawn. Thought I give this a try and boy am I happy with the results without having to spend so much.

I used this on my Bermuda lawn and noticed the grass looked greener within a few days. It was easy to apply with a spreader and the coverage was accurate for my yard. Just make sure to water it in after application and avoid over-applying. Overall, good lawn food for keeping the grass healthy and dark green during the growing season.

Our front facing curb strip and lawn get really beaten up by sandy snowplow spray every winter here in upstate NY, and I'd been fighting a losing battle with it ... until this point. I decided last fall to put down a bag of this Scotts Green Max as part of my winter prep, and pretty much forgot about it until my grass started coming up before any of my neighbors' did this spring. I got another bag right away and gave the grass its spring feeding, and it just burst up. It's thicker than I've ever seen it in the 5 years we've owned the house and it's the darkest green colored grass for blocks around. I put this stuff on subscription! Pros: Easy to apply. Works fast. My lawn looks like a golf course and feels like velvet when I go out barefoot. Cons: I have to mow twice a week instead of once. And I'm making my neighbors look bad, LOL.

This is good lawn fertilizer. While it did not turn the lawn green in 3 days, like it says, but it did improve the lawn somewhat. Price went up right after purchase.

Works quickly and effectively. Our grass turned a darker green just a few days later.

This comes from a company known for lawn care but this product did little for my lawn. Perhaps it works better in cooler climates but in Southern California it doesn’t seem to help much.

this is a great product just be aware of who you are buying it from
