I have yet to be disappointed by Mechanix brand gloves
True to size with the expected quality materials and stitching that I expect from Mechanix. Light insulation to provide some cold weather protection while still allowing for dexterity. Not great for extreme cold since additional insulation will reduce dexterity.

Super handy set of gloves to keep in the trunk of your car
I've always been a fan of mechanics gloves. They always fit well super durable, and these being slip on is a plus. They're super comfortable the grip's good. Definitely keeps your hands warmer when putting chains on your tires in the snow.

Great for temps above 27°F
Good grip, but they weren’t kidding when the description said NOT for extreme cold weather.

Great garage glove.
I’m not sure why “some people” hate on these gloves. They are not a heavy duty work/mechanic glove. If used for that purpose then yes they’ll fail quickly. They’re not an extreme cold weather glove. They’re rated for 40*. They’re not advertised as being waterproof.Only wind resistant. What these gloves are great for is light garage work or driving/forklift warehouse work.Year after year I keep buying these FastFit gloves because the sizing and build quality are very consistent and good. I have no problem using them with my phone or other touchscreens. The dexterity is great.Cold afternoons/evenings in the garage are much more enjoyable with these gloves. I wear a medium. I typically use them for working on my old VW beetle, oil changes, engine work, drinking cold snacks with your buds in the garage, etc.Typically a pair will last about 6 months before the finger tips start wearing through. At $16 you won’t find a better glove for the price!

First Pair had faulty stitching in the lining, and don't expect them to be super warm
After getting a replacement pair, that replaced a pair with faulty lining, that made them very uncomfortable to wear. They fit pretty well, and were just ok for warmth, but I am sure they are designed for someone working on things and keeping their hands moving all of the time. It's a trade off between keeping your hands warm and being able to handle whatever you are working on and being able to feel well enough through them. I would not recommend these for just being outside in the cold, but they do work well when working on things in the cold to keep your hands somewhat warm.
