Brother Genuine DK-2606 Continuous Length Film Tape, 2.4 in x 50 ft (62 mm x 15.2 m) Black on White, Retail Packaging

I probably would not have ordered this brand if I realized it was shipping from China, but overall I'm happy with the purchase. It's water resistant, there is no warping around the printed area, it's sticks securely enough that it won't fall off even on a high traffic surface (my kids remote controls), and so far it seems to peel away cleanly when you want it to (my 2 year old got hold of the stack of labels I printed and stuck 5 of them to the walls and her toy box before i caught her)

This third party brand was a fraction of the price, but works excellent. The film quality is great and stick really well. I use this for plant labels and did not disappoint.

We ordered this to make warning stickers in a Mechanical Room (Hot Surfaces, Rotating Parts, etc). The ink doesn't smear even if you put water on it and TRY to smear it. You can insert clip art images which is pretty cool (I inserted some industry standard warning images). It was quite a bit cheaper then what other major office chains are selling it. Also, it shipped from Amazon LLC, not Pex like two other reviewers had said, and it was the correct product-- Yellow Film with Black Ink. Whatever the problem was with shipping the wrong product in the past, Amazon/Brother has corrected it. Very pleased!

Product jams constantly in the printer. Have used 2 different printers and same results. Also prints very light. Seems product is thicker then original.

Plex Supply is NOT shipping the DK-2606 FILM instead they're shipping the DK-4605 REMOVABLE PAPER. The product description heading has it as DK-2606 however, it does say PAPER but in the technical description it says FILM while the picture shows DK-4605 paper. ??? Confused, good, you should be. Two places imply one item, two suggest the other item. Who knows what the other sellers will ship you? Today, July 24th, I sent a request via email and phone for Plex Supply to contact me. Hopefully they'll address the situation but I think Amazon is partly to fault too for the product page. JUST BE CAREFUL that you're getting what you really want. Otherwise, these labels are great and so are the Brother QL Series Labelers. They blow away the labels from your computer in looks and quality, are much easier to print with and come highly recommended. However, if you're reading about this product you probably already have a Brother QL so I'll stop preaching to the converted. Good luck...

I bought these with the intention of trying them on cars windows. my idea worked great. they are very sticky and withstand the weather and sun for awhile.

Yes, guys. Although the other user alerted us, I decided to take my chances and got exactly the first picture: the box of dk-2606 (which is for the yellow tape) but inside you find the white film tape. So, amazon description is wrong! Watch out! UPDATE 02/13/2013 I forgot that I had done this review and came here just to let you know that the tape IS IN FACT YELLOW !!! Only the exterior face of the tape is white, which might mislead users to think otherwise. I will upload a photo so you can check it.

Great label tape holds up very well out doors I use it also for making labels for the tractor. The labels are permanent & the black on yellow shows up very well. I wish Brother would come out with some other colors.
