I installed this today by myself. I took a pic of my old thermostat configuration to show you all. Took maybe 15 mins for everything except the WiFi. I followed the instructions on the app which was a very helpful tool. I can't say enough good things about that bc whenever I install a new thermostat I am puzzled when the letters don't matchy matchy. This app took that guesswork out for me. Thank you Emerson. The wifi I was stumped on for a but bc it said my password didn't work. I figured out either me or the app was adding a space at the end of the password... So just be aware of that. This thing works amazing. If it blows up or stops working down the road, I'll update my post but so far, so good. Both the touch screen on the device and the app work great. I love that you can lock the touch screen so your kids can't increase the temperature. Installed my second one in the house where I only had R W G wires. Followed tutorial on changing G to C wire and I got it up and running. Wasn't a problem. Added 10 mins onto the job. Easy peasy.

Dit product is niet geschikt voor gebruik in de EU. Probleem begint al bij het registratie proces, daar loop je vast omdat registratie alleen voor USA en Canada mogelijk is. Het alternatief (Apple home) beschikt niet over alle functies voor optimaal gebruik en functionaliteit. Programma’s (schedules) maken is onmogelijk. Door registratie problemen werkt deze thermostaat (zonder schedules) alleen binnen je eigen netwerk omgeving en niet buitenshuis. (Middels Apple apparatuur geprobeerd het draaiende te krijgen)

Extremely easy to replace thw existing t/stat with this Sensi. Best instructions EVER. Easy to read and easy to set the controls, to get the best out of our heat pump... AND TO SAVE MONEY!!

I replaced my Honeywell smart thermostat with this one for one main reason. That was so I could adjust the circulation time which the Emerson Sensi touch could do. But in replacing the thermostat I have found the Emerson easier to use once set up. It was easy to install on the wall and create an account but for some reason my WIFI connection didn't work at first but checked setup and reconnected again and it worked. So probably my error or a little glitch. The Emerson app is easy to use and make setting changes. The app menus are clear, straight forward and uncluttered.

I was looking to update my old thermostat. I did my research and compared this unit with the Nest, Ecobee & Bosch. I only installed it days ago so I am still learning how to fully use it but I am loving it so far Things I like: - decent pricing, compared to the Nest which is the most expensive brand - has voice control for Alexa & Google Assistance - touch screen (big & wide screen), smart functions & wifi - back light glows (very nice in the dark) - not battery operated The only thing that I can think of at the moment that's negative was that I had to hire a electrician to install it. Luckily it wasn't costly since my furnace was pre-wired so it was a 20 minute hook up. One other minor issue would have been nice if it's sensored but I think there's an option to set up the cool & heat option for set time to turn on/off. I got alot of compliments, very stylish looking. I still love this.
