Good Quality amp. Good power - I used it in a gig with myself (on keys), a guitarist, bassist, drumset, and hand percussion. I didn't have it all the way up (or even close), and it was certainly ample. I appreciate the Equalizer knobs as well. Regarding clarity - I feel like I've heard clearer amps, but I've played a few gigs, and nobody seems to notice. I get lots of compliments on how beautiful the keys sound, and my audiophile boyfriend thinks it sounds fine, so maybe I'm crazy.

Peavey has been around forever. They are spot on and reliable. No issues, I bought for my Yamaha DGX 670 keyboard. It sounds amazing. Highly recommend

Great little amp for electronic keyboards, synths, guitars, and any other musical instruments. It has two audio inputs and a headphone jack - all 1/4". It has separate volume, bass, and treble controls for each input. It's got a lot of volume - most of the time I barely have it turned up and it's load, clear, and not distorted.

Little Peavey KB1 amp, Very Pleased . all i needed was a small amp to work with a DTX 500 Drumset , just for Home Practice . it does the Job. I can Rest my ears , when the Headphones get to me, and also let other's Hear , when needed. I did not expect much power. The little amp can put out if needed around the Home, possibly a small Venue as well. I did a Db check against a Fender Blues Jr (15watt tube 1x12) on guitar , with the KB1 with the drums, and the Two work together , for curiosity type of music stuff from AC/DC to Rush, a player since early 80's. I do know its limits , because it is only a 8" speaker, and can only put out 20watts. I would not try to play with someone running a Marshall 50 or 100watt head . But if you need a small practice amp , that wont blow away the neighborhood or wrench back trying to carry it. this is the amp. it has a 5 year warrenty if you fill in the registration online or on the supplied card. which to me is very good. Plus I know Peavey can make some pretty tuff stuff. as far as sound reproduction. I had to kick up the HI band pot to about 3/4, the Bass i leave at 1/2 , volume 2 and dont plan to give any more, since i know Drums can kill a speaker pretty quick at this size. as a result the bass is on the weak side. again I don't expect it to be a QSC 500 watt monster with a colum of JBL's . if i want full reproduction i'll wear my studio headphones. 4 stars because i think Peavey should have used a 10" or 12" speaker with higher wattage limit, so the speaker could handle full Bass Boost of the amp itself. maybe after 5 years ill put a killer JBL in there. :) amazon shipped very fast and the shipping was free Fedex delivered , recieved in prefect condition, i am not a prime customer.

This thing puts out.

Great for what it is, a cheap keyboard amp for those times when you don't want to use headphones. Let's be realistic here. This amp is not going to cut it on stage, and the sound quality is not going to come close to a $1000 set of PA speakers which is my preferred amplification for keyboards. But it is cheap and small and light. If this amp was $500 I would give it one star, but at this price point it is as good as it gets. A cheap set of studio monitors may give you better sound, but without the mixer and portability.

I HAVE MANY OTHER PEAVEY SPEAKERS, COMPONENTS, ETC., BUT THIS UNIT IS UNDER POWERED AND THE FREQUENCY RANGE IS LESS THAN I EXPECTED. IT DISTORTED VERY QUICKLY WHEN FED WITH LOW FREQUENCIES. GOOD FOR A KID OR A SMALL SPACE, BUT FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS EXPERIENCED PREMIUM SOUND SUCH AS WHAT A PEAVEY BLACK WIDOW DRIVER OR JBL IS CAPABLE OF, YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPOINTED. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH THIS UNIT. I GUESS IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR APLICATION. I ENDED UP RETURNING AND SPENDING MORE ON A BETTER AMP/ SPEAKER COMBO.

Amazing value for the money! This little amp that I use for electronic drums is compact and very solid and well built, it performs perfectly for me in my small apartment. I can't believe its only 20 watts I never turn it up more than half way and the controls are very easy to access!

Works well bit 4 stars as it does lack a bit of bass. Using for am electronic drum set for practice. But for the price point, its great.
