I’m delighted I chose this one. A little bit more expensive than I had budgeted for but it looks amazing. The flame effect is the best I’ve seen, the functionality is great, the heat output is exactly right for a room of 20m2, the noise level is not an issue buts it’s not silent. The lighting is ambient and the best feature to this truly beautiful fire. I looked at dozens of fires alongside this one. I made the right decision. It’s not just a fire; it’s a focal point too.

Beautifully packaged, no assembly - just plug in and go. Lead is approx. a metre long and controls positioned to rear right, easy to turn on / off. It is extremely quiet, even when operating at maximum temperatures and heat output superb. Design wise, the stove is sleek and minimal and all metal, the door does not open. It is tall and fits perfectly into space. Favourite feature is the realistic fire effect which can be viewed from three windows and makes the room glow at night. Carried out a lot of research before purchase and 100% recommend - value for money, good looks and superb build.

This fire arrived yesterday. It was out of the box and set up in minutes, so that's good. The one shock for me is that the glass part, where it looks like a door, does NOT open. I assumed the controls would be in there. They're not. They're at the top of the back of the heater. It's actually quite a handy location as no need to bend down to switch on, the light or one or two of the heat settings. But what if the inside of the glass needs cleaning? What if the bulb needs changing? 🤷‍♀️ One other review mentioned a remote control. There is NOT remote control. I searched my box and the text of the listing when I saw someone mention this. No remote control. But that's OK, I didn't think there was when I bought it. I like the design. I want it to sit in front of a real fire when I'm not using the fire. Other similar fires have the fan heater part right at the bottom, i.e exactly where the raised hearth around the fire is (which would therefore block the heat output). With this fire, the fan heater is raised slightly. So it's great for my purpose. The body is not a solid as I thought (comparing to a 40 year old Burley that is still going lol) but it looks fabulous. Noise level is fine. It's a fan heater so it sounds like a fan heater. It's virtually silent if you just use the lights and/ or if the thermostat clicks off when the room is at temperature. The dial for the thermostat is also at the top of the back of the heater. But it's easy to turn it and work out whether you're turning it up or down without actually seeing the dial. The heater is also quite light (for such a thing) for moving it around (or in and out of the fireplace for me, when I do actually light the real fire). Overall, in happy but dropped a star as the door doesn't open which makes me worry about cleaning the inside glass in the future and changing the bulb, should it ever be necessary (modern bulbs seem to last a long time so hopefully I'll never need to find out). I like the look of the fake flues in some of the reviews. I found some on amazon so may get one. Heated wise, yes, it's a fan heater. Flame effect is lovely. On the whole, nice looking, very easy to operate.

Lovely electric stove. Relaxing flame effect, which I use a lot. My house is warm enough that I don't need the heater that often, but it is good for a quick blast of heat on cold days. I bought a 'pipe' and firewood to make it look more authentic, and I also purchased a large marble-effect chopping board which I use as a hearth stone! A great price- so much cheaper and easier than a wood burner!

Fabulous fire looks great give good heat fan a little bit noisy. Delivery by DPD who were hopeless. Didn't turn up twice

Arrived earlier than expected. Looks great and makes our sitting room feel really cosy even on just flames. Like the glass on the side panels as you get the effect all around. The thermostat is an advantage as you don't need to keep turning the heat on and off. Only negative is that I would liked to have a remote control, other than that very happy.

Avoid!! We purchased one of these before Christmas and it was ‘delivered to a neighbour’ followed by a name of a neighbour we don’t have. Amazon kindly refunded and we re-bought another fire. This arrived after Christmas and the flame effect didn’t work at all. 5 shops later we finally found someone who would accept the return and had to spend £19 for the pleasure. Again Amazon refunded the cost and the fire. Third time lucky we purchased ANOTHER fire and this time it is faulty AGAIN! The flames work but there is a clunking sound when it’s on. So now I have to decide whether to spend another £20 and return this for a FOURTH attempt or just keep it and get on with the clunking sound. This is shocking quality, shocking service from the third party sellers and quite frankly I would never ever buy from them again! Also it definitely doesn’t come with a remote. Honestly I would avoid this at all costs and find something else on the market for similar price!

So far, really pleased with this item. Solid build quality and looks very good. Door doesn't open which confused me at first, but controls are.at the back so.makes.sense. Only tried it on lowest heat setting bit very warm. Recommend to.others
