Wonderskin Lip Stain Set – Long Lasting, Waterproof, Lip Tint Peel Off

I have found My Holy Grail! I have tried every band I can get my hands on for a long lasting stain for my lips 💋. This is so easy to apply if you watch some of the videos. First time I nailed it, and I was surprised because I was nervous about it. I applied it like a liner and did a heavy coat 3 times. Read the instructions on the box! 30-60 seconds. The first time you apply, be very careful and it should turn out the way it is instructed. Spray the activator on carefully and it does peel right off! You can redo the process if it is not to your liking of color and you want to enhance it. I put so much on the first time that it stained my lips a perfect berry color. When you use the lip stain, be very careful to line your lips appropriately. Because this stuff will not come off, and that's exactly what I was looking for in a stain. After you spray the activator be careful because it can dribble a bit.So get black towel out and make sure to get it off of your chin or wherever it might dribble. This is possibly because it was my first time trying. I just ate something and nothing came off. The only thing is you may notice a slight tingling in your lips, but that will subside. I have extremely sensitive skin and my lips get cracked from time to time. Because of the dry climate, I live in. I used the exfoliator first the three in one. I applied the activator after I applied the color. I topped it off with one of the glosses that is recommended for this brand and it made my dryish lips immediately immediately film moisturized and conditioned. The only drawback I can find is that if your lips are cracked or have dry skin. This will pocket because it is something that stains dry skin as well and may not look as good Also, I would go with a lighter color than I purchased, if you're looking for more of that jlo** glow or natural look. I’m seriously obsessed with the Wonderskin Lip Stain! The color comes out so beautiful and natural-looking, and once it sets, it actually STAYS. I love that I can eat, drink, and go about my day without constantly worrying about reapplying or having lipstick transfer everywhere. It feels lightweight on my lips and gives that perfect “your lips but better” look without feeling heavy or sticky. The application is fun and easy, and the final result is totally worth the hype. Definitely one of my new favorite lip products I’ll absolutely be trying more shades! 💋✨

This is definitely a stain, not a lipstick or gloss, which I appreciate. I wear Invisalign braces and have to use a stain to prevent getting lipstick all over them. Wonderskin is a stain, and I do not have any issues with transfer, on my braces or cups, etc. However, I scored it a 3 for 2 reasons. One, the color is very faint. I left it on for at least 5 minutes as suggested to darken the color. Although it was slightly darker than just leaving it on for 1 minute as directed, it was still very faint and the color was nowhere close to what was shown in the description or the video. By midday, it looks almost like I have nothing on; there's barely any color. I have 2 colors, and both have the same result. One of the advantages for using stain is so that you don't have to re-apply throughout the day. I don't want to be sitting at my desk in the office with this bright blue color on my lips, so re-applying is not an option. The other reason for the score of 3 is the difficulty and mess it makes taking it off to reveal the color. I've tried makeup remover wipes, just water on a tissue and the spray included in the kit. None of it works easily. The makeup remover wipe takes off too much and you're left with barely any product. The spray in the kit does not make it peel off easily as advertised. It does create a peeling effect, but it flakes and peels off making a big mess and leaving residue all around my mouth and on my teeth/braces. The water on the tissue works best but is still a mess. It spreads the blue color all around your mouth no matter how careful you are, and you have to really scrub to get the blue color off if you have anything but completely smooth lips. I had high hopes to finally find a true lip stain with vibrant colors, but this is not the "miracle product" I had hoped for.

I got the XOXO shade and I absolutely love the color! It has such a beautiful payoff and looks even better once it’s applied. It also lasts for a good amount of time, which I really appreciate. My only complaints are that it can be a little difficult to peel off easily, and I wish the activation spray nozzle produced a finer, more even mist. Those two things would make the application process much easier. You also get that tingling feeling after applying the mist too! Overall, I’m really happy with the color and how it turns out. I would definitely try other colors!

Update: I own 3 shades now (I am trying to find that perfect wedding color 😅). Love love love them. Please note if you bite your lips and have healing spots they dye differently. So be prepared for that. So far my favorite shade is Charming! I am a very fair skinned, summer pallet girly and ita almost perfect. Darling is too bright for me. Romance is a tiny bit too warm and still very vibrant. Where as Charming is a nice cool mauve. What I was looking for: a lip stain with staying power for my wedding day. These are obviously viral at the moment and so I gave them a try! What I found: Okay let me preface this by saying I am white white. Like ghost white. Like turn into a lobster, doesn't have the gift of melanin, translucent white. Ergo, I was trying really hard not to go for the extremely pigmented colors. Yet, the only cooler toned stain available when I was looking was Darling. I took a look at the images and thought to myself, "I think I can pull that off. It shouldn't be too bright." Ooooo boy was I wrong. My first application I went with a full 60 seconds. Had my lips looking like they'd been painted neon peony pink. And the color didn't start to fade for a full 6 hours or so. Which is great staying power. I just wish that I hadn't been over confident on the application. When I apply the stain for 15 or so seconds it turns out like the photo attached. Still bright but not quite neon bright. And I can handle that for sure! Now the stain itself is not hydrating. You need to top it with some chapstick or a nice lip day mask. But it does have great pigmentation and staying power. I ordered a lighter shade to try out for my wedding. I think you'd probably want to reapply about 4 hours in to get a full 8 hour pigmented look. But I feel like that's great staying power personally. And it doesn't transfer to anything like most lip products do. Which is a huge win. Pros: highly pigmented (if you're translucent like me, don't be me, and shoot for a shorter first application), transfer proof, waterproof, quick application, does not come off Cons: does not come off. So please don't try this right before a big event. Play with it first to get your timing down. Stains fingers, so no touchy touchy with bare fingers. Pro tip: place a paper towel or cleaning cloth under your lips before spraying with applicator (if you got the set). Use a cloth to wipe it off.

I have never had good luck with lip stains, but this one is incredible! It goes on so easily with the blue masque. I did exfoliate my lips first before applying. I let it set for about a minute and then spritzed with the activator. The blue masque came off so easily and it revealed the prettiest, richest color. I’m obsessed. I love that the color is very close to the color swatch in the listing. I love that I can wear this all day and not worry about it wearing off. There are so many color choices also. I will definitely be ordering more!

This color was darker than description. I was going to return it but decided it was okay. It does stain your lips, however, there are a few observations about this product: When removing the "blue" color to reveal the lip stain color, it can be a little messy. It is not as simple as they say it is. Mine has never just "peeled off". It takes a little effort to remove. I did notice that in the corner of my lips the skin can get a little bit of blue stain. It comes off, but if you have done your makeup than it is coming off as well. It also gets on my teeth, so I have to always make sure I rinse afterwards or I will have blue pieces stuck in my teeth and gums. So be sure to check that! Last, it does not stay on my lips but maybe a couple of hours or less. That's not even eating or drinking anything. So it is kind of cool, but also pricey. Not sure yet if I will order another color or not.

I’m not sure what made my lips peel, if it’s the color stain or the spray to make it peel off for easy removal. I noticed this made my lips feel numb when I went to remove it, and then about 20 minutes later the skin started to peel off my lips, not as terrible like it sounds haha.. it reminds me of when I switch toothpastes and the inside of my mouth will peel/shed for a week or 2 before getting used to it. It doesn’t hurt but it’s annoying because I’ll see little white strings on my lips for a few hours after application. I use only chapstick over the stain, I’m very hydrated and my lips are never chapped, I wouldn’t apply this if they were. So the chemicals are definitely doing something to the skin of my lips. Other stains DO NOT do this to me, just Wonderskin. I do like the light basic pink color I chose, and I do like that the color lasts about 8 hours. The application itself is smooth if you’re trying to line your lips, but the product itself is very thin liquid so it’s hard to get a good thick coat on. I usually leave for a minute, the longer left the deeper the color. 30 seconds didn’t last me the 8 hours, it was about a 3-5 minute sit that lasted the longest. The next day after wearing my lips feel a bit textured and over worked. I can’t use this daily like my other stains or my lips might die off.

Dommage ça tient pas sur moi j’ai peut-être pas choisi la bonne couleur par rapport à ma carnation. Je l’ai appliqué le matin et dès que j’ai mangé mon déjeuner le midi j’en avais plus, je préfère mais rouge à lèvres Waterproof.

So the longevity of this stain really depends on how long you leave it on. If you follow the minimum time as instructed by the label, your stain will only last a few hours and not be very saturated. Regarding the color: definitely check the chart with all the different color models- look at the one that's closest to you to determine how the color will look on your lips. Don't look at the swatch colors, they're misleading. The longer you leave it on, the darker the color. Get the activator because sure you can remove it by rubbing it off, but you're also rubbing your lips raw and it's messy, takes time. You remove it when your lips are wet with the activator. The taste of the stain/masque is really nice with a cooling serum feel. The activator doesn't taste the best but it isn't nasty. Also try to close your mouth so it doesn't go in.

Das ist der perfekte *Lippenstift* obwohl es ja keiner ist aber die Farbe hält mega lang kein verschmieren oder sonst was. Wird definitiv nochmal bestellt.

The color don’t last long

Je l’aime d’amour, la couleur est magnifique, il est repulpant. Je regrette que la quantité ne soit pas plus importante pour le prix, ce qui le rend moins abordable, mais je le recommande et recommanderai pour moi. Le plus c’est aussi qu’on puisse voir les rendus directement sur Amazon avec les images de chaque couleur sur différentes carnations. J’espère un jour pouvoir me le reprocurer
