OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop

18 months on and going strong. I mean this thing is solid, so it should be! I’m a total oxo nerd. I’m one of those people that loves staying loyal to a brand when I know it’s worthy. OXO just make good quality home/kitchen utensils that work, really well and last. In terms of doing its job, spot on and as the name suggests… good grip! This thing should last a lifetime. I’m being sad reviewing all my oxo products I purchased 18 months ago!

A quality made item, slightly on the heavy side but easy and smooth to use. My 5 year old son struggled to use it but it should be ok for older children. As well as using it as an ice cream scoop, we also used it for making cookies. When you press it, there’s a little piece inside the scoop and it swipes up and this allows the food item to fall out easily, nothing required for this to happen, no need to get it wet. Worked well for both ice cream and cookie mixture. Can definitely recommend! See pictures attached.

Good solid scoop, doesn't look like it will bend like many others have. Used on ice cream straight from the freezer. Worth the little extra.

It it well made, easy to make ice cream balls with an added push leaver to remove it from the scoop.. It is however very big, so if you have small tubs of ice cream, I'm not sure how effective it will be. Dishwasher safe and cleans with ease.

Ice cream rolls off this scoop as it should. Remember to run under the hot water tap first. A quality but simple product that’s very well designed.

Super resistente. Pesa un poco pero es lo que hace que vaya taaan bien, es genial. El mando es muy comodo, es muy facil hacer la bola de helado y con la palanquita del lado es genial para dejar la bola sin necesidad de sacudir ni dar golpes. Super buena calida, de professional.

Tenía una cuchara que me costó casi lo mismo y que compré de emergencia en Fresko, no hay comparación alguna, esta Oxo pesa, es sólida, funciona con helado recién sacado del conge.
