GreenPan Valencia Pro 8QT Ceramic Nonstick Stock Pot, Hard Anodized

I purchased a full set of GreenPan Valencia Pro cookware a year ago, some individual items and a large set. The large set arrived in a box packed intricately, and I found only a couple insignificant chips to the coating from transit. After using the cookware for a year, I would say I’m mostly satisfied. Its nonstick characteristics are holding up well, and it doesn’t seem to suffer from regular dishwasher cleanings using Cascade Platinum. Often the pan can be sprayed with water, wiped dry and stored without any detergent. The bottoms are slightly prone to minor rust if they stay wet, but that hasn’t been a problem for me. The nonstick is very good, and I’m hoping the chemically inert properties are accurately represented as ditching Teflon-coated cookware was the paramount reason for buying these. The exterior coating is also very durable. The thickness of the pans is just enough to be satisfactory. Their light weight and durability allow me to use them when car camping. I find the slightly concave bottoms are not ideal for a solid surface cooktop since there is reduced heat transfer, but it isn’t a showstopper. On an induction stove, it seems as though the ferrous portion doesn’t quite fully span the bottom on some pans so they don’t heat as fully or evenly as they might otherwise. The most satisfactory heat source for these pans is a gas flame. The rough texture on the bottoms is helpful preventing the pans slipping around on tabletop canister stoves, which I appreciate. Another issue is with the lids. They let steam/condensation escape through the seam between the glass and the stainless-steel surround rim which causes water to pool on the lid and eventually dribble onto whatever cooktop you are using even when just simmering. You learn to lift the lid above the pan so it can drip all this water into the pan. And the handles get very hot fairly quickly, so you have to use a hot pad. Overall, I’m happy with this GreenPan Valencia Pro cookware and for the money, I’d buy it again and recommend it.

Replacing all my teflon coated All Clad pans with GreenPans. I was a bit apprehensive about these stock pans, but I made a large batch of soup the other night, and all worked out great! No sticking at the bottom and equal heating and clean up was a breeze! I bought these stock pots through Amazon because GreenPans did not list them on their site.

This is a terrific pot and its nice to know if it scratches you're not poisoning your family! It's a snap to clean and is absolutely equivalent or better than our All-Clad pans. You will find yourself turning the heat lower on burners because these pans are SO good at conducting heat efficiently and evenly. The instructions recommend (strongly) using only silicone utensils and we have followed those instructions for several months. It leaves these pans looking like new. They are also feel exceptionally solid without being "HEAVY."

Overall it a good product, the coating is not as it used to be, so food started to stick more after 2 year of use, and we're not cooking that much (twice 2 week)

Green Pan Valencia Pro has worked well for us!

I bought a whole set of the green pan Valencia to replace my 30 year-old non-stick set of pots and pans. You can’t help but hearing and reading everything about how the old nonstick is no good for you so I dumped it all even though mine was still in good shape no peeling or gouges. This is an extra piece I needed to complete my new set. Used many times and I love it. Good size for chili and soups.

I love it because it’s light and the coating in the pot is very smooth and non stick.

Use mine over 6 months now, holding up well and good simmer.

I bought this stock pot to complete my set of green pans I find them to meet all my satisfaction and worked straight away on my induction hob and they are easy clean I recommend green pans

Contrary to the description, this is not a good quality the ceramic coating is peeling off and Amazon says there is no warranty after the 15days

on the pricey side but good product

I really like this Green Pot .... it finishes off my set. I needed a 5 quart pot for soup & this pot is perfect. Very easy to clean!!
