Hydraphase Hyaluronic Acid & Caffiene Eye Cream, 0.5oz

I really like this gel since you can use it around the complete eye (eyelid, under eye). It does a great job moisturizing and does seem to help with under-eye bags over time.

i am someone who is really into skin and beauty care products so i have tried A LOT of them, mainly the high end ones. i was asking my (very good) dermatologist what she recommended i use to treat any expression lines (i am in my thirties and i dont really have wrinkles). She said: 1 word, RETINOL. she recommended Roc Retinol Correxion Eye cream or Neutrogena's. i wasnt too happy to have to buy drugstore products but i chose to be wise. so when i started using Roc at night, i noticed it was very drying for the eye contour, especially the upper eyelid. so she recommended i use a moisturizer over it. after a thorough research for THE best moisturizing eye cream, i found La Roche-Posay's Hydraphase to be the best for the job, and specifically made for moisturization. i purchased it and it worked ABSOLUTELY GREAT. no more drying whatsoever in exactly 48 hours. texture was wonderful, light and fast drying. i used it in the AM over my Estee Lauder Renutriv Ultimate eye lift (which she approved after looking at the ingredients) AND in the pm over Roc. After i finished the tube, i thought i'd try something new because i like experimenting, and got Kiehl's Avocado eye cream. it hardly helped to moisturize and i still have dry areas on the upper eyelid even though i have been applying it for more than 1 month. i just decided i dont want to finish it and just reordered Hydraphase.The older Hydraphase and the new Hydraphase Intense Eyes are the same product because i tried both. they just changed the names and the packaging for the usual marketing purposes. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED if you need big time hydration.

Ever since I started using this under my eyes almost every night, I noticed my concealer applies smoother.

I like the feeling when I put it on. But not sure if I see any difference. Not buying it again.

I originally got this at Sephore in Andora when it was really cold and my eyes and skin around my eyelids were super super dry and not even Vaseline would work. She recommend me and used since. But sephore and cult stopped making these in my area of UK so this summer i had really bad hayfever and had to find it. I got last night and this morning my eyes are already better. i wash my face and use this and used the ole Vera gel on top and regular e45 helps wonders stings a little tho.

I don’t understand what this product intends to do so maybe my fault? It doesn’t hydrate very much. It’s a clear gel. I don’t notice any difference with my eyes. I notice a slight firming. Wouldn’t buy again because I’m looking for smoothing and hydration in my eye care.
