Is this the Insert or the actual shield?

This is an insert that fits onto your helmet's shield. If you look on the inside of your visor/shield, you will see a small pin on each side. This pinlock insert fits between those pins, and then seals itself to your shield/visor preventing any moisture from forming between the two. When, at some point moisture gets inbetween the pinlock and shield/visor, the pinlock can be removed, allowed to air dry, and re-inserted.
