Caravan Roof Vent Fan 12V(24V Max) 400mm with Remote, Quiet, Rain Sensor

Quite worried couldn’t find a cheap van with decent reviews decided to take a punt on this one 140 quid. it was easy to install so easy if you’re not sure there are plenty of install videos on YouTube for roof vents. easy to install, never done anything like this in my life before and it took me probably about an hour wiring again easy nothing complicated in it whatsoever function of the fan unbelievable I was so surprised just how strong the fan sucks and blows definitely helpful in the hot weather we’re getting in the UK lately. With the paperwork you get contact information for the company. They reassure you if you’ve got any problems with any parts give them a ring and they will sort it. haven’t had to, but I’m assuming with them actually given out a phone number which is rare nowadays so you can contact people directly. I’m assuming that they are going to honour that pledge. Hopefully I’ll never have to use that number. would I buy again? Absolutely. would I recommend?definitely

I LOVE it. Easy to fit into my campervan and easy to operate, very powerful (a friend did a test and blew his enormous vape cloud out of his mouth whilst sat on the floor underneath the fan, with it in the exhale function it pulled it straight out of the van without me even smelling it!) I LOVE the rain sensor as I can leave it open at night knowing that if it rains my van isn’t going to get wet as it closes automatically (and is quiet enough not to wake me). The remote control is a good feature as I can operate it from bed. The mesh is easy to remove for cleaning. Totally recommend this item for the price is so much less than the popular Maxx fans!!

Great product only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the fact the remote stopped working after a couple of months

The features/price point of this roof vent was good so I have 2 fitted to my van. I haven't used it other than to check it works and it does really well. However the other day, I discovered that the plastic protrusions for the hinge bracket for one side have broken, I just found the parts loose. My heart sank thinking of the difficulty involved in changing the lid and would the life guarantee be honoured? I contacted the email and WhatsApp to explain. The email bounced but I got a next day reply from the WhatsApp message and the seller is arranging a replacement. So having been concerned about having a big hole in the roof if the lid broke off, I am relieved to be arranging a solution from the seller. At the end of the day, everything has a risk of failure so the important part is getting it fixed, especially when the product cannot be removed and returned. Also from the pictures vs my unit there is now more support making it stronger. I was concerned about negative reviews but on balance I will be happy once I have changed the lid, the fan and its features are great. I will update my review once I get the fault fixed but as long as there is customer support, I would recommend this unit.

Not bad for the price. Very quiet on setting 1 but anything more and it's a bit loud. Fitting was easy and straight forward with clear instructions and good fitting accessories included. A shame it can't be totally closed off so that in winter or very windy days / eves you don't get a draft or wind noise. After 9 months of it being installed, it died. So I wouldn't recommend this product any more...

This fan is amazing we had had it in almost 2 years now and has worked 100% the remote is a great idea as we lay in bed and can adjust the fan or open/close the flap as we need it’s so easy to fit just cut the hole pop it in the hole and seal all parts are very sturdy too and the rain sensor is brilliant many times we have fallen asleep with it open and if it starts to rain will close it self. we are very happy purchase 100% recommend

I took my van for a service and the garage broke the lid of it by crashing it into the roller door. This company who makes the vent fan. Sent me out a replacement cover and parts free of charge, or i had to just pay for postage if i can remember. Really good item, really good online team. Great company 5 stars

Good price, fan is powerful, very quiet when on settings 1 or 2. Straightforward to fit. Worth noting that the power wiring exits through the side of the fan shroud, so bear this in mind when fitting and sealing the area. The original remote control stopped working within a few minutes, but RVAccessories were easy to contact by WhatsApp, and sent out a replacement within a few days. The fan components (e.g. cover and mechanism) are relatively lightweight so it will be interesting to see how they survive in use, but at the oeuvre can't complain. Instructions on how the fan operates are a bit confusing as the software had changed since the manual was printed, so you might have to test the functuons and figure this out

Nel camper non abbiamo l'aria condizionata (un po' per scelta un po' per economia) e nemmeno una cappa aspirante per il cucinotto. Ho scelto questo accessorio per velocizzare il cambio dell'aria all'interno della cellula sia per il caldo estivo sia per evacuare i fumi ed i vapori provenienti dai fornelli. Si collega al 12v (io ho utilizzato i cavi di una lampada posta in prossimità), ha 4 velocità di funzionamento sia in espulsione che aspirazione, apertura e chiusura sia motorizzata che manuale, sensore di pioggia (da provare). Adatto per un foro 36x36cm (il mio era di 40x40 ed ho dovuto ricreare una cornice di riduzione). La cornice di chiusura inferiore ha un labbro alto circa 7cm che a seconda dello spessore della parete va adattato tagliandolo. In dotazione viti inox e telecomando. Note: alla prima velocità il rumore della ventola e appena percettibile, ma già dalla seconda si fa sentire, terza e quarta secondo me da usare per velocizzare il ricambio perché risulta quasi fastidioso. Acquistato durante il prime Day a 156€ posso dire che è stato un ottimo acquisto visti i prezzi di marchi più blasonati. Aggiornerò questa recensione dopo l'utilizzo di questa rovente estate.

Nach 3,5 Jahren Benutzung ging das Lüfterrad zu Bruch. Problemlos Ersatz bekommen für günstigen Preis unter 30 Euro… Sogar 2 Stück zum Preis von einem, ein neuere Varainte des Lüfterrads was noch leiser sein soll… Lüfterrad ist auf Stufe 1 so gut wie nicht hörbar… Gestern angekommen, eingebaut, funktioniert einwandfrei! Also Händler versorgt einem auch noch nach Jahren mit Ersatzteilen…
