Works Great! Get this!
Fantastic item! My Mitsubishi electric mini split ductless came with a standard remote with a timer that I had to set every day if I wanted it to automatically cut on and off at certain times. The unit sits in a sunroomthat can get very hot in summers. I needed a way to program the unit to cut on and off the same times each day, even of I am away from home. But the unit didn’t offer that option. The installer said there was a really expensive controller I could buy to replace what it had but it would need professional install. This was the answer. It works beautifully. No need to look for remote control codes or match the remote with the unit! You plug it into the wall, download the app to your phone, and then use the app to “pair” it to your home wireless system (not to your phone). The hardest part was pairing it wasn’t hard for me but a person who isn’t great with internet stuff will want help from someone familiar with pairing and how wireless works. Also my unit also did not come with directions but there were instructions available from the manufacturer online and youtube videos that showed what was needed. Again, easier to understand the instructions if you have paired something before. But. This is worth it.Find someone to help if needed. It took me 15 minutes to set up and half of that was finding and reading the instructions. But it works like a programmed remote control; if pointed at the unit can turn it on or off out of the box. To schedule it to go on or off automatically, you have to have one schedule with a time for it to come on and a separate schedule for it to go off and then you can make that repeat daily or weekly etc. You can enter multiple schedules per day. And you can control it all over the home from your phone so long as you are on the wireless network. Now I saw some indication that you can control it away from home. Haven’t tried that yet and it seems a little odd but perhaps. I just set it before I take a trip. It is white plastic and shaped sort of like a thin 3 x 3.5 closed clamshell so it is easy to hide although it has to be pointed toward the unit it is to control and plugged into a wall. Now instead of running the unit all day at the same temperature or having to remembering to turn it on or off each day, I use this. Really great item!!! Saving me tons of money because rhe unit only runs when necessary and the sunroom no longer becames overheated or too cold to usein winter.

Android non functional IOS works after a lot of restarts but seems to be working ok
I really wanted to like this product , after 5 hours of tinkering with this i was about to give up then I switched to an IOS setup from an Android - I was stuck in my android setup with a connected wifi but no internet. I have managed to get almost all of the way through an IOS setup Except that the system balked at entering an ID for my Home Mini Split . SO i started again except the device now seemed to have a mind of its own - SO started again (reset Router to B G mode , uninstalled app reinstalled app , powered off device waited 5 minutes re-powered on device. Got all the way to connecting (to manufacturers site) , nope that failed asks for a WPS pair up and that failed.. So unloaded all software reset all hardware and start again This is the last try , so far so good I got all the way through and manged to turn off my heat pump. Getting any of the icons to work on the screen is the next challenge Ok so now I can switch my unit off now testing the switching on function - now works just fine. Setting temperatures works just fine getting better by the minute. Missing feature Vertical vane control which directs the airflow across the room. The timer function is a line by line ( set on time a temp) then repeat by day week year This switched the system on I assume that a new line item describing an off time and emo is needed.ok so fall is here and I want to set am and pm timers up,easy enough I assume that they are in fact temperature set at the head end I'll need to recalibrate the offset for fall .Not a fault of the unit , but the head unit seems to have a mind of its own responding to commands when it feels like it

Could not get this to work. There was no ...
Could not get this to work. There was no instructions or even mention of a website to go to on how to set it up, I had to google instructions. It would not go thru the pairing setup, I tried on 3 different networks and it would get to the pairing segment of the install and fail. It was defective and I had to return it for a refund.

Great idea, poor execution
I really wanted to like this product, and was so excited for it to arrive. Sadly, the product didn't live up to my expectations. 3 details to share.Setup was a major pain and no instructions were in the box. I quickly found the app for my Android phone though and figured it would be easy. First, the app requested access to my Phone call info, SMS, and contacts. (That seems really slimy.) I denied these and worked through setup. I had to find the web site for instructions on getting the device paired (button on side of device I missed and not mentioned by the app). Eventually, I did get it setup and it started to work (for a while.)The app for both iOS and Android were pretty bad. They worked but where not very intuitive. Setting the location for outside temperature was impossible as it asked for city name and country. It ignored when I entered my state (I live in the US.) and then lists 5 towns all with the same name in a list to choose from. I went through all of them, but it seemed to keep selecting the same one which is a much warmer area than I live in. The Android app was so bad, I decided to put it on an iPad and see if that was better to work with, but it was basically the exact same app.The killer issue however was the device won't stay connected to my WiFi. Sadly, every few hours, it would drop the wifi connection and stop working. As I don't need to adjust my AC all the time, basically anytime I wanted to do something, it was disconnected. I went through a number of resets and tried a few locations for it, but as my phone, tablet and laptop all have full signal in these locations, I don't think it is a location issue.I did love the idea of using IFTTT, but as it can't stay connected, it just gives me a bunch of IFTTT errors. Support was reasonably quick to respond to my questions, but unable to help with the WiFi issue so I am returning it. I could have lived with the bad app and setup process as really once I had everything connected with IFTTT, I'd never see either again. Maybe I just had a bad unit, but with the app issues, I'll be looking for a better option.

Bought a Sensibo for far less, and got a far superior product.
It has IFTTT integration, but that's pretty much the only good thing to say about it. The app is a cluttered nightmare. Doesn't work with some main brands, let alone lesser known ones. Looks cheap.Bought a Sensibo for far less, and got a far superior product.

Funziona bene ed è esteticamente gradevole
Sono molto soddisfatto.Avevo provato altri prodotti simili, restandone deluso.Questo funziona benissimo, è piccolo e di estetica gradevole, e con una buona App.Ne ho preso un secondo, e ora controllo da fuori casa tutta la mia climatizzazione con pochi click sullo smarphone. Raccomando.
