Like all the kits from Rokr this is a kit well worth the fun of building. The pieces part from the panels with ease and the parts are very accurate but there are some spares to cover the odd breakage. This is not a build for the beginner and some parts need some force particularly the shaft sleeves the hold the shafts for the globes. It is the first kit I have seen that shows the use of a hammer in the construction for instance. The parts include a novel tool to ensure the accurate placing of gears and other parts on the shafts which is a great help. The music box movement is of good quality and the music easily identifiable, not always the case.All in all a good build that deserves not to be rushed in order finish up with the delightful unit shown in the promos.

My husband loved this. There are alot of small parts and he required some of his own tools I.e a small mallet to complete it. But he did it by the end if xmas day and its exactly as described. This could be passed on as a family gift for years to come. It's stunning. I think it would be a hit hard for young kids, as I said there's a lot of small pieces and screws and such. Definitely better for a grown up model enthusiast.

This is my 5th model to date, one of them sadly discarded, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this particular model. Yes I made a few mistakes and broke a few pieces which I managed to patch before realising I had spare parts. I also ended up having to discard the final part when I realised I had put two of the pieces in the wrong place. The good news is that it all worked fine anyway, but it still irritated the pedantic in me. I might even buy this again after I've tried a few other models, but for now I can easily recommend this for a tricky, but worthwhile test.

Bought as a present for my wife who likes jigsaws and puzzles.Unfortunately this is for more experienced model makers.However, I was given the job of building it and loved it.It comes with ‘balsa’ wood sheets which have the pre cut sections all marked off with relative numbers ie A1 B6 C3 etc.Also has a bag of plastic jewels (globes) and the metal spindles.The instructions were perfect but probably best to read each section two or three times.I didn’t and had to redo a few bits.They are so well cut and accurate, once completed it was lovely and now it’s a talking point with visitors.

Bought for a Christmas present for my daughter. She started building it straight away on Christmas Day and thought she had a couple of bits missing so I emailed the supplier, expecting a reply after the holiday period but I got a reply within a couple of hours offering to send the missing parts straight away. It turned out the parts weren’t missing at all, she’d just mislaid them. She built it within a few hours and it’s really lovely. Extremely good quality and fun to build but not too easy. Can very highly recommend

It has some appealing features, there were a few drawbacks. The model is beautifully designed, with intricate details and a mesmerizing starry night theme. The mechanical music box adds a charming touch, playing a delightful tune when wound up.However, the assembly process was more challenging than expected. The instructions were not as clear as I would have liked, and some pieces required a lot of effort to fit together properly. Additionally, the quality of the wood used for some components felt a bit inconsistent, with a few pieces being slightly weak.Despite these issues, the finished model is visually stunning and serves as a unique decorative piece. It's a great project for those who enjoy hands-on activities and have some patience for intricate assembly.

Belle boîte à musique (Memory de Barbara Streisand). Le montage est complexe (surtout la fin) et requiert la supervision et l'aide d'un adulte. Il faut compter 3h environ. Ma fille de 8 ans a adoré et est ravie du résultat.

Modellino molto bello e di qualità, le istruzioni sono scritte in modo molto chiaro quindi rimane semplice da seguirne i passaggi.

This set isn't worth it. The wood is really fragile and breaks easily, even when careful. Some pieces don't fit in each other. There wasn't even the right amount of pieces in this set, There was one pin too few and one screw too many. Therefore the set couldn't be completed.
