I have received his radio as a gift when I hook it up it has no sound on Bluetooth mode I’ve tried multiple devices

I paired my device and it works fine . Sometimes it comes up on pause . Hit the forward arrow and it plays . Other wise I had no problems sorry couldn't be much help

Can you hook up a powered subwoofer to the receiver?

Don't buy it, it's garbage. Terrible sound from speakers and the receiver burt out in less than a year(literal smoke and burt circuit board/electrical components).
