Mahogany Smoked Meats: Sweet N Spicy Beef Jerky - 16oz

TLDR: It's really, really good.Bishop, CA has been an anchor point during my trips to the Eastern Sierra Nevadas for a couple decades. Many of those years more recently, I have made it a point to stop by Mahogany Smoked Meats, which sits right off hwy 395, to have a delicious and filling lunch at the deli and buy some assortment of jerky at thier impressive counter to take with me on the road heading North. Mahogany Smoked Meats is among the best food in town and has some of the best jerky I've ever had. I was ecstatic when I stumbled upon them on Amazon and more so when I found out they shipped to Afghanistan!The jerky is fresh as can be. I think I already mentioned how darn good it is. I highly recommend it. If you're on the fence because of the price, I can understand that, as it's more than twice the cost of some other options with many others offering more product. I can only tell you this is an example of quality over quantity. And you will get quality!Also keep in mind they are among a struggling breed in the market: the small business. Especially during these difficult times through the COVID-19 pandemic. Worth it to me.

This is top quality beef jerky! I bought it for my boyfriend for Father's Day. It came early, and he saw the package. Needless to say, it got opened immediately. He loves it and so does his best friend. In fact, they both told me that it was quite possibly the best tasting jerky they've ever had. I guess you can officially say I won Father's Day this year!

Has a fuel oil taste to it, just nasty! Threw it out.

interesting smoke flavor, very nice taste, a good mix of sweet and spice.

Loved the flavor, a little tough for dentures tho
