Over the years, I have used many different methods to take care of my persistent callous heels, and most of the time have to use the callous shaver which can lead to cuts, even if you are careful. I decided to try this scrubber since it has such great reviews but was skeptical as my last scrubber which was made out of metal did not work so well and hurt my heels. I know my glass nail files work great for my nails, so why not. I glad I did, this was absolutely the fastest and painless method I have ever used. I did both of my heels in less than 10 minutes, I scrubbed one heel dry and the other wet and both worked fantastic but for me I like the wet process better, it was faster and gentler, I literally just wet my heel, I did not soak it. As you can see by the pictures, it works. The only thing to warn you about is that you need to be careful, it is a nail file but is sturdy but hard to hold on to, which they figure out how to mount it on an handle. I will continue to use it, because it is making how fast and easily it worked and did I mention painless? Love it!!

Let me start off by saying I'm REALLY picky about having nice/clean feet, even in the winter I do pedicures to keep my feet in good shape (not as often as in the warmer months, but I still try hard to keep up with them). I've always used the cheese grater type foot files, but they leave a lot to be desired, especially when you're really getting into cleaning up your feet really well right when winter is ending so that you can be ready to wear cute shoes in the warmer months (I literally go through a whole pedicure routine of Epsom salt foot baths, foot moisturizer and socks, and filing before bed for a whole month or so before the cute shoes can even come out of the closet).Anyway, I just got this thing today and holy cow! My feet feel as soft as a baby's bottom and it didn't take much time to get those results either (not even 5 minutes each foot). I thought this might just be a "Chinese piece of junk" but figured I would give it a try since it wasn't expensive and I'm such a stickler about my feet and none of the other files I've ever used have left me in awe and let me tell you, I'm so glad I gave it a try!I only have two "complaints". 1) I would prefer if it were bigger (closer to the size of an oval paddle brush) - this thing is only a couple of inches at it's widest point; 2) It would be helpful if they would incorporate some sort of grip/handle - I can imagine if someone has a lot of work to do, it would probably start hurting the hand from trying to grip this small/smooth egg-shaped thing for so long - as previously noted, I didn't even use it for 10 minutes total and I was already getting a little bugged that it was so small and doesn't have any grip.Other than that, I love it! I can't speak to longevity (obviously) but I'm still giving it 5 stars because at the end of the day, it did its job of making my feet soft and it did it really well - if I have to buy another in the relatively near future, it's okay because it's not really priced in a way that will break the bank.PS I showered and wore sandals for a couple of hours so my feet were completely DRY before I used it. I'm not so sure it would work well if the feet are wet. Happy feet cleaning!

This is by far, the best callus remover I have ever used! I have found that it works best on dry feet. I have suffered from calluses and cracks so deep it's painful to walk. Pumice stones and lotion just didn't cut it for me. I cannot use liquid callus remover because my skin is too sensitive. I used this tool 3 times in the last 3 weeks and my feet are staying baby smooth. I highly recommend this product!

I was going to send this back because it is not convenient to use on heels or balls of feet. It actually feels dangerous because its glass and does not have support or a handle. The pressure of pressing on heels, etc. makes it feel as though it could snap in two. But then I realized that I kept wanting to use it one more time for the build up around my toes and along the side of my index finger in particular. So I can't deny that I need this, it has good bite and makes cleaning up the build up on toes especially much quicker and easier because it is smaller and doesn't have that handle. I always do my own pedicures and must admit that this is a very useful tool. Here's my pro tip: you'll need to file a whole lot less if you use the lanolin and petrolatum rich A & D diaper cream on your feet after bathing and wear either silicone socks or cotton socks afterwards. (That's the best pedicure tip you'll ever get. Seriously. Heaven on lips and cuticles, too.)

After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I actually had this sitting in my cart for a while, forgot about and then it went on sale so, I really had very little to lose if it disappointed.I immediately used it and was genuinely shocked how well it worked. I had few spots on my toes and heals that were pealing from an old blister and wearing flip flops, it completely smoothed it down with no trace.It took me a little bit to figure out the best way to hold it and if I should move in one direction or back and forth. For me, going with the grain of my skin in a back forth motion worked best. I even used it on a tiny dry spot on my elbow.I don't think I have ever felt my feet feel this smooth. With a small amount of lotion afterwards, my skin feels like silk!The surface felt sticky when I took it out of the box but I realized it was the nano micro surface. It cleaned up very easily and I stored it back in the box since it is glass.I will be buying one for all the ladies and maybe a few fellas in my life. I am also going to gift one to my manicurist. This will be the best money you have ever spent on a pedicure file.

Easy to use, but could be a bit bigger. Also this is a two piece unit that has started to delaminate. Not sure how well it will hold up on the long term.
