ACOPOWER HY-AS-FD8MM DC 8mm Female to Solar Connector Adapter, Black

After spending considerable time searching for this 8mm Female to Solar Connector Adapter, I finally found exactly what I was looking for. There seemed to be no shortage of 8mm Male to Solar Connector Adapters, but this was the only merchant I could find that had precisely what I was looking for. If your solar panels have an 8mm cable, often seen in the portable suitcase style solar panels, but your solar generator requires mc4 connections, this is the connector/adapter you need to buy. I was so happy when I first found this adapter cable, I immediately ordered two. As I mentioned, these are not so easy to find, and I would recommend this adapter rather than trying to make your own.

I know this cable was meant for the Goal Zero BUT I purchased a Bluetti AC200 and wanted an 8mm female adapter with MC4 connectors to connect the transformer to the PV input and this works great.I would like it if the connection was a little tighter BUT it has worked for a couple of weeks now with no problems, so 5 stars and no complaints.

The 8mm jack was perfect to connect my Goal Zero 20w panel. However my problem lies with the MC4 connectors. The pins disconnect from the whole housing. They were also not compatible with the ones I already have. So I just cut their's off and install my own.

Been racking my brain with my new JACKERY solar panel connecting to a non JACKERY portable generator. The generator is 6mm*3mm most adapters are 5.5 mm 2.1 too small. Additionally, I needed a female to fit into JACKERY male

I received an order and I had a problem and they went over and above and corrected it they exceeded my expectations and they were fantastic. Highly recommend

The rubber on the female end extended to far preventing contact with the male electrode. I was able to correct the issue by cutting back some of the rubber covering allowing a solid connection

This unit doesn’t charge from my solar panel to my power station. At the same time I bought a similar cable from SolarEnz and that works reliably fine. It is the female 8mm plug that doesn’t make solid connection I believe. Don’t waste your money on this product. Get the SolarEnz 8mm to MC4 cable which is even longer than this AcoPower product.

Met expectations.Had to slightly cut 8mm end connector cover to make good connection.
