Peppermint Tea Tree Hair Oil For Curly Hair

First of all. There is a very popular review on here that warns against the use of canola oil for hair and scalp care. The writer goes on to say canola oil is like plastic. Untrue. Canola oil is known to control dandruff, repair split ends, nourishes hair with vitamins E & K, omega-3 fatty acids provides good nutrients absorption, and provides UV protection. My review: I have worn my hair in a bald fade since 2005. I tried growing it back in 2016. Ugh! I forgot that I have horrible dandruff. I get sores in my scalp. My hair is very fine, but uber thick. Feels like my scalp can't breathe. When my hair is cut low, no problem. My mom took me to many dermatologist as a kid. Everything they gave me dried my hair and made it fall out. Not to mention the horrid smell. In 2016 the only thing I found that worked was Head & Shoulders Clinical Strength. It smells great, but it is too harsh for my scalp. My scalp began to become red and inflamed. Back to the barber I went. Now that I'm retired I want hair. Eden oil was recommended on a black hair care site. So glad I found it. No more making my own oil blends. Canola is so much lighter than Jamaican Black Castor Oil. 4C type hair is not very porous. Eden oil does not drip from my scalp onto my neck and face. I just part my hair and put a few squirts here and there. Then I give myself a good scalp massage and run the rest through my hair. That tingly feeling from the peppermint oil is so soothing. There is just the right amount of melalueca oil. The antiseptic quality keeps my dandruff at bay. No more sores. Because the oil is so light, I can reapply the oil between washings. Great buy. So weird that Eden oil comes in an aerosol can, but is not an aerosol. It's almost like a cooking oil sprayer.

Good product for afro or curly hair. Good for your scalp. I like it!!

I never write reviews, but I'm making an exception for this stuff. Smells awesome-- not flowery or perfumey, and not that weird musky "man" smell everything with "for men" on the label has. Just refreshing mint. It also helps a lot with dry scalp... I don't have dandruff, but I can get pretty intense exema. My hair is also really thick and dry, and this stuff is the first product I've tried that actually lets me style my hair. One drawback that doesn't bother me much, however, is the oiliness. It is, after all, oil. But some of us need it-- it takes me three days without a shower for my hair to get close to oily. May not be the best bet if you're prone to or concerned about acne. You know: oil.

I bought this product a few months back, but didn't start using it until recently, after I found it at the bottom of my natural hair care bag. I've used it to LCO my hair, it also works great in a pre-poo. (BTW, I have low porosity 4b-4c) The only caveat for me, is the straight shooter spray. I like to sometimes spray it around my hair and it stays in one region.

This oil is perfect for my 4C hair. Eden Bodywork’s products are fabulous!

My youngest daughter has VERY dry curly hair. She's 6. Up until I found this product I had no clue how to care for curly hair and her scalp had never been combed due to such tight curls and resulting rat's nests. We tried EVERY PRODUCT out there including all the leave ins, pray ons, coconut oil, masks... You name it. One spray across the under layer of her hair and one spray across the upper layer of her hair and I can COMB right through her hair!!! AND her hair stays curly and moisturizer and brush able for days!!! Without any other products. It smells pepperminty and it also seems to keep mosquitoes away from her lol, so I'll bet my fear of her getting lice is also solved. Have been using for 6 months or so and am going to order in bulk in case they ever stop making it. Because I honestly don't know what we would do without it.

I jus wanna say I love this product. I do not use this every day. I do use this with a few oils added together for a over night Hair mask. I mainly rub this "Peppermint Oil" Into my scalp and throughout my hair. I wake up, shower and my hair never felt so soft and GREW SO fast. It would take my hair forever and I mean for freaking everrrrrrrrrrrr to grow. I used this and a few other oils combined as a overnight mask. Not for a daily use. I am so so sooooooo happy with it.. I went from my hair being jus a tab bit below my ears in 4 months was passed my neck.. It not only deep conditioned my hair overnight But helped it grow. What I did was spray on scalp, massaged it in. Heated up jojoba oil, pure coconut oil and fingers through my hair. mainly on my tips and the Peppermint throughout my scalp. <3 WORKS WONDERS. Trust me...

This stuff smells amazing. I have to get used to the amount that I need in order to properly oil my scalp but to smell along makes me a fan. I have the conditioner. I just wish I could find the shampoo in this fragrance

The spray bottle I received was metal casing not the plastic one shown, regardless still the same product all in all. The product smells amazing and the spray method is honestly the best way to get oil to your scalp will buy again.

I am sure this product is great. But it came to me via the post in a bad way. The oil had spoiled the package. This product was recommended via YouTube. I know this product is good. It just came to me wrong almost broken. Not happy!

It is a nicely packaged oil. took a while to arrive. It has noce minty smell to it. It does leaves hair soft but a little more on the greasy side. The only thing that put me off of this is that it really messed up my scalp. it caused my scalp to develop pimples overnight. Lovely product but not for me.

Half the bottle leaked out and saturated the box :( ...my garbage smells very fresh though!

I find it very oily even with just one pump.. I leave it in for about 30 minutes then I have to wash my hair twice to get it all out or my hair is greasy
