Autism is epidemic! In 2015 the Centers for Disease Control reported that 1 in 45 children is identified with autism spectrum disorder. Yet, the phrase Autism Spectrum Disorder is simply a label, the underlying causes of the symptoms are rarely diagnosed. Conventional doctors are unable to help because they are restricted by the guidelines of the American Medical Association. So what is a parent to do? Beating Autism is the personal story of Anne Evans's struggle to find answers to the cause and cure of her daughter's condition. Evans left the world of conventional medicine and found not only the source of her daughter's autism, but clear steps to her complete healing, alternative medicine, allergy elimination and Field Control Therapy. She found a combination therapy which brought about a complete reversal of symptoms and healed her daughter without the use of expensive equipment, pharmaceuticals, or surgery. From that moment on, the Evans family used diet, and Integrated Chinese Medicine (ICM) and Field Control Therapy to diagnose the condition of Sarah's brain tissue, analyze her dietary needs, detoxify her organs, and boost and redirect her own immune system to fight off invading pathogens without the use of antibiotics or psychotic drugs. Their daughter showed improvement immediately and recovered completely. Beating Autism is the compelling and true story of the Evans's 3-year struggle battling and overcoming autism. It is a case study that includes full explanations of the weekly drug-free treatments, details of the side effects and their durations, and a complete list of materials, metabolic and psychological tests, laboratories, and clinicians used. For the past 15 years the Evans' daughter has been fully functional with no signs of the disorder. Find out how you can get your child on a path to recovery and beat autism too. Review: Very informative book - This was a really thorough account of the steps this author/ mother took to help her daughter. It was the first book I read about Eastern Medicine/ NAET/ FCT/ supplements and other treatments that didn't come straight from the people trying to sell/ promote the idea for their business. It was a mother detailing what their family did to help her child. I really appreciated the fact that the parents were scientists, too. The author explained things step by step, the process behind it, and what they specifically did. It was like reading a journal of what they went through. (So yes, I skimmed some parts, and read other parts in depth- the ones that I think could help my child more.) I appreciated the examples of test reports done before and after certain treatments, too. It helped me to understand some eastern medicine ideas that I would have never considered before. Did I immediately go out and do everything this mother did? No, but I tried some. And I am researching more. It takes a brave person to write a book about what they did to help their kid, especially using "strange" treatments, and so many nay-sayers out there. Review: I thought it was too good to be true - An impressive story of a mother's battle to clear her daughter of a profound illness. Her belief that God wanted her child well moved them forward out of autism Wish I could have read (And believed) this when I battled 30 years of celiac disease undiagnosed. The remedies Anne Evans came to are much the same as the ones I have come to use. When I read about NAET, one of the techniques that Anne uses, I thought it was too good to be true. Then I spoke with some people that had used it and knew I needed to try it. Now, I am experiencing the profound effects being lifted out of my illness and having a life free of fatigue. Anne Evans presents documented proof of natural techniques overcoming measureable poisons. I can see this book being relevant to all NAET patients and mothers. It could help them feel understood in their battle for health, unrelentless in the face of opstacles, and give hope to carry on . Not to mention the time saved in searching out methods of healing for themselves. Dare to believe, dare to try, and you too may overcome

This book is so informative! I cannot believe how well Alex is responding to NAET!!! How do I know it's just NAET...because it is all we are doing for the past month. He is not taking any vitamins or supplements at all!!! I just want to thank you for putting your story out there so we could learn about it. I mean he helped me put away dishes this am like a "normal" little boy helping his Momโค๏ธ Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Informative read
Wonderful read and insights and methods. This book is informative which is helpful to someone with autism. The key factor here is, the information and how you interpret it and use it. I received a free book that I had won through the Goodreads First Read Giveaway. Thank you, Darlene Cruz

Hopeful
Inspiring account of one familyโs journey to healing. Anne started out as skeptical as anyone, but at the end of the day, the current paradigm has no answers. Therefore, they can only throw bandaids at symptoms. There is another way.

This book explains so much about autism, and shows how the impossible was done with her child.
I am amazed at what I read in this book. I have spent just over a year and a half researching autism and how to help my autistic child. I started off with diet, and then could see the sure signs that my son had signs of allergies (dark circles under the eyes etc). My own journey of discovery has found a wealth of scientific studies that show autism is caused by immune system disregulation, allergies, food intolerances, presence of abnormal levels of metals in the brain, poorly functioning metabolic processes and methylation. The important thing to learn is that the above affect the brain and prevent its neurotypical function and development. I decided I should get this book to fill in some blanks in my own understanding. It is brilliantly written. It covers all the things I would have explected to find and a whole lot more that I didn't know about. Most importantly, it shows a roadmap of how the author helped her child, who was clearly on the spectrum. Roughly half the things in the book I have done or started and found similar results, so I can vouch that this is not make-believe. I find her explanations sound and scientific. I find myself bingeing on it for hours, then my brain gets absolutely full, and then can't wait to get back to it. I have been reflecting on my own journey in all this. This journey of helping my son has also done wonders for me. When I look back at my own life, I can see autism. The digestion/leaky gut/mercury toxicity/food intolerance/allergy links were all there. With me, citric acid, cheese were definite allergies. I had sugar intolerance - very strong migranes, something in tap water and swimming pools - think it's chlorine - very strong migranes, milk, gluten. I have suffered all my life not knowing where all the pain came from, and finally started to understand. As I dealt with each intolerance by methods described in the book, I have fewer migranes, found it much easier to think. This week, a chance conversation with my daughter revealed we both had the same reaction to chlorine. This very thing is in her book and it mentions how she could trace intolerances back to a generations growing up in the 1930s. It's amazing to see the same allergies/food intolerances traceable through generations in the book and my own life. I find this fascinating. So what about the offspring for all these kids with new food allergies? Will their food intolerances be passed down to their children, without the interventions described in this book? I highly recommend this book. It will open your eyes to what is possible.
