I bought two of these, one for my son and his family and one for me and my wife and daughter. The reason is, one of these saved a good friend of mine from freezing to death. He had shot and killed an elk in the mountains out west and was using it to clean the animal on, when he realized time had gotten away from him and it was getting too dark to get out of the woods without getting lost, so he wrapped himself up in the blanket and spent the night. He said he was a little cold but with the temp in the mid 30's he would have frozen to death if he had not had the blanket. Friends back at camp knew where he was hunting and came after him at first light. Thanks NASA

Overall these are good for the money but they are really single or double use only! To throw into a car, go bag or backpack for emergencies, can't beat them. But your not gonna get like years of use out of them.

I was so excited when I saw that Oceas had mylar emergency blankets. I have two other non-emergency blankets from them and they are fantastic. I use those at my son's soccer games/practices. So when I saw the emergency blankets, I knew I had to get a set for my car. From blankets come in a TINY, very modern designed case. Super sleek. A perfect thing just to put in your glove compartment. Can't wait to see what other products Oceas comes out with.

Haven't unfolded any of these as they are for an emergency ... yep, pretty dumb because you should ALWAYS check to make sure they are good but the packaging is excellent, the packing itself is excellent and they all look clean and new so I will trust the company. VERY nice!!!!! Would purchase again even though they ARE a little higher. The packaging is excellent.

It comes in a hard case and I was surprised by the quality! It’s a great buy and a great price.

I had a problem with the USPS delivery. I contacted the seller, who reached out to me quickly, very courteous and professional, who immediately sent a replacement. It’s hard to find stellar customer service. As to the blankets, the description matched the product, and they now are in the glovebox, just in case.

Me tocó usarlas en una montaña con principios de hipotermia. Muy ligeras y faciles de transportar. Ojo, aunque sean más fuertes de lo que aparentan tratar de regresarla a su tamaño original es imposible así que digamos que son de un solo uso.

Las usé para acampar y siento que sí aisla bastante bien el frío del suelo, además es bastante grande, por lo que sólo usamos una. Además se siente muy resistente, por lo que la guardé con la casa de campaña para otra ocasión. Obviamente sería muy complicado doblarlas de manera que quepan en su bolsita, pero sí se puede doblar a un tamaño que no estorba para nada.

Funcional, excelente para emergencias, te tapa del frío o calor.

Sirve muy bien, pero usalas desde un principio, no al ya tener frío, pueden ser menos efectivas.
