This is a great unit that is easy to install. Cost is reasonable for a 3 year unit. I plumbed this inline to my refrigerator and I no longer have to purchase super expensive filters for it. Water tastes great and flows faster.

I have been using this Waterdrop filter since 2024, and it has been fantastic. The system has worked reliably the entire time, and the only thing I've had to do is replace the filter after a lot of use. The water tastes great, installation was straightforward, and the product has held up very well over time. I recently had a small issue and contacted customer support. Becky and the Waterdrop team were extremely responsive and helpful, and my issue was resolved the same day. Their warranty support was excellent and showed that they stand behind their products. Overall, I am very happy with both the product and the customer service. Highly recommended!

I just received my order for the waterdrop under sink filter (model WD-17UA-UF)! It’s only been installed for a couple hours but so far I’m very impressed with the filter system and I’m satisfied with my choice! The package came with everything needed for a quick and simple installation. Literally as simple as deciding where to place the filter, using the template sticker to put in the two included mounting screws, pushing the included water hoses into the filter head, then mounting filter head onto the two screws! From there I simply turned off cold water supply, unscrewed the faucet hose from supply pipe, screwed inlet hose onto cold supply pipe, then attached the filter outlet hose right to the faucet hose that I had initially unscrewed from the cold water supply pipe. VERY SIMPLE INSTALLATION! It took me 15 minutes to get it installed in total, plus 5 minutes to flush out the filter and check for leaks. I didn’t need to use any of the adapter fittings since my connections were already 3/8” but it was great they were included just in case! I also didn’t use the included teflon tape. BOTTOM LINE: If you’re looking for a high quality easy to install water filter that fits under most sinks and doesn’t produce any additional waste water then this one should be at the top of your list! The water tastes great and the sleek design makes it unobtrusive in the back of the cabinet. Installation was very simple and painless! NOTE: Be sure to measure and leave enough space below the filter cartridge in between the bottom of cabinet before you install the mounting screws! Just a few inches is all you need so that it’s easy to remove and replace new filter cartridges in the future! Also when deciding where exactly you want to mount the unit be sure to take into account where the hoses run so that they aren’t in the way. **Plus if you have the type of faucet with a spray head that can be pulled out to extend when spraying dishes then make sure that the filter inlet and outlet hoses don’t obstruct the sprayer hose OR THE RUBBER WEIGHT that’s attached to it underneath the sink!** But if it does get caught up you can always loosen the rubber weight and adjust its positioning under the sink! !!All in all great filter, great system, and great clear simple installation!! (I’ll update this in a few months if I happen to have any future issues, but I don’t think that’ll be a problem.)

I purchased a 17UA-UF filter system in September 25, advertised as a 3 year/24K gallons filter. Now it is April 26, 7 months later and water flow got significantly reduced. I checked comments posted by other users. They reported slow water flow due to filter saturation. Seriously? I installed this unit under the sink and I live alone. I don't believe I used even remotely close to 24K gallon of water in seven months. Conclusion? It worked, but not as advertised.

So I bought this filter because it seemed like a high-flow filter with decent reviews. It came with the needed plumbing parts for installation. And although I wouldn't call it "great-tasting", it did improve the taste of the tap water. That's it for the positives, now the negatives... First, installation was a pain--the filter body is much longer than anticipated. I have a "normal" size sink and cabinet, but to fit the filter (so I could remove/replace it), I had to install the bracket above the bottom of the sink, which was very difficult. Contrary to their claim, the flow was noticeably reduced, but it was tolerable to fill a glass of water (or coffee pot) without getting too frustrated. Honestly, even with these quirks, I still would've been satisfied. However, third, and most important, it is now less than 2 months after install and my cold water flow is more like a leak. As the attached pic shows, my 5 month old grandson has drool that flows faster than the cold water on my sink. The flow is, of course, unchanged for hot water. I tried re-installing the filter (again, what a pain--it is even harder now that the filter is full of water), but that had no effect. And with only the two of us in the house, it has been used a lot less than most family households. Honestly, I am going to have to bypass the filter completely, and go look for a replacement, because there is no way I am buying another filter every 2 months! UPDATE: Their tech support responded to my issue, and asked me to try "reverse flush" the system. This was also more difficult than it had to be, but I got it done, and that seems to have resolved the issue. Raised my review to 3 stars, for now... UPDATE: they ended up sending me a different filter housing and filter (essentially just replaced the product, albeit with a much smaller filter--11K imstead of 30K), which definitely worked a lot better. And when I was ready to replace the filter, then sent 3 more filters, but smaller 6K ones. So at least I am getting 29K of the 30K I originally purchased. I am raising my review to 4 stars, mostly based on the polite and responsive tech support.

Super easy install and water is clear w/no debris. First thing in the morning the water bubbles but this is expected and goes away after about 3 seconds. Looking forward to cleaner/filtered water. At 3yrs of potential filter life, totally worth it.

Easy to install and great water. Very high quality, no leaks. I have well water and it took the odor out of the cold water.

Update: Customer service was able to send a replacement filter that solved the issue. I still don't like the fact that the filter lasts a fraction of the mentioned lifetime, but as the product works as intended now I will update my rating. Original: As mentioned by other reviewers, the 3 year filter only lasted a few months. Product support was useless.

Gave 1 star because there's no 0 star option. Bought this filter 3 months ago and it only worked for 2 months. Water flow became slower and slower, cold water pressure dropped to a very low level. But 30 days return window closed and we tried reaching out to the seller Crater Shop, they refused my refund request rudely without any customer service or help. Do not recommend this product and be careful with this seller, they are not responsible for what they sell.
