This product is great for after drying hair with a hair dryer. It de-frizzes the hair and makes it smooth for easy combing. I have used this for many years. I met someone at a rest stop who was using it for hot weather car trips. Brilliant idea!

Since switching to this a few months ago, I haven’t noticed any new heat damage. It sprays a fine mist so it’s super easy to evenly spray your entire head. Doesn’t make your hair oily at all and smells amazing so sometimes I spray it even when I’m not going to heat style. However, since this isn’t oily you might need to add a different product for sleeking or frizz if you have dry hair.

I gave this a shot to help protect my hair from hot ironing due to the positive reviews. It does seem to help prevent my hair from frying and give it a smoother, shinier look. I have long, foofy, porous hair, and apply much more to the older hair near the ends. This spray is lightweight, doesn't load down my hair or make it look greasy, and doesn't stink like rancid fruit like so many other hair products, which I appreciate. Whatever scent there is fades pretty quickly. I have purchased two bottles on different occasions, and the "lock" on each sprayer was different, although both are located on the neck of the sprayer, one of which wasn't obviously apparent to me when I first got it. The packaging has not proven great for travel, as no matter how carefully packed, the bottle has leaked, albeit into the freezer bag I packed it in - still, a pain. I resolved this by picking up an aluminum mister I saw at the container store, which has worked perfectly for me (although some reviewers seem to have had issues). In the end, I like the product, the packaging not so much, but at least the extra step saves a little space when I travel.

I'm really liking this so far. Easy to spray on just your hair, it doesn't go EVERYWHERE. I like the locking trigger. I can still spritz just a tiny amount, even when locked, on just my bangs (maybe it's not supposed to do that but it works for me!). I like the scent too!

Great thermal protection spray! I purchased this as an add on to use with my John Frieda Salon Shape 1.5 Inch Hot Air Brush (that I love!) I am not expert in the areas of thermal protection sprays - I never used a flat iron - I pretty much gave up hope after the 80's ended. I will admit that I am not a fan of the TRESemme hair sprays because the boyfriend uses those & I hate the smell of those. I was very pleasantly surprised with the smell of this TRESemme product! It's very nice! It worked like a charm too. I use it when my hair is 80 percent dry before using my hot air brush, and I also use it for when I blow dry my hair "dry" (second or third day / no shampoo days) to protect it from the heat on my dry hair. Again, works like a charm! My hair is well protected from using heat & it is a great styling aid. I've used it to "fix" areas that I messed up along the way by spraying over again lightly. One reviewer said it isn't necessary to spend a lot of money on products like this. I wouldn't know from past experience but I certainly don't plan on it. I can see why it is so highly rated! It works great!

great product overall. Does what it should and doesn't add any weight to the hair at all. I would spray in and let it settle for a minute before blow drying though because if I go in right away it can make my hair feel a little stiff but it can be avoided with brushing the product out a little or waiting a minute before applying your heat. Smells good, easy to use and does not add any shine or added anything once heat is applied.

Didnt know what to expect. Was just looking for a protectant, but this spray is AWESOME. My hair is fuller, shiney, and I get a great blow out. It really is a great product, which is a very nice suprise. Very easy to work into hair. No residue or crispy feeling after. I spray it into my hands then work it through for better results and more control of product. It has a nice scent, not overpowering. Will be purchasing again.

I am using this product since 2 years now and it was not available in any of the brick and mortar shops so I ordered it from Amazon.in. Although the product was not available in India this was shipped directly from US for me without any extra charges. This was one of the best experiences I had in any of the online shopping websites. This product is very useful for the people who regularly irons/ blow dries their hair. Even with less amount and usage of the iron/drier and you won't have any split ends in your hair. It can be used after washing your hair even when you are not using any heating products. This smoothens the hair and make them look healthy and shiny.
