These were a hit at a themed cocktail + books night. They matched the cups and the books great, and I loved that they came individually wrapped! They were good quality, none of them broke and they were a decent thickness - like a typical straw. The color was gorgeous and they were a good size. I was able to use them comfortably with an 8oz cup and they were long enough that they’d fit well in a taller cup as well. We used them for cocktails, but they’re thick enough that I think it could suck up milkshakes or other thicker liquids easily as well. Because they’re individually wrapped I feel like I can throw some in my bag, in my car and leave them other places for just in case moments

I was in search of straws with high senimental value. In my case, this meant non-plastic because glass simply tastes better, or, if that wasn't possible, a plastic straw in a more intriguing shape. I have a specific fluid regimen that must be followed for medical reasons, and I wanted to make it feel less like a patient treatment and more like an EXPERIENCE--a set of moments that might be captured and held in the heart for years to come. I am totally blind, so simply purchasing multi-colored straws wouldn't enhance the immediate experience. No, I needed a nice texture, a delightful shape, and preferably a neutral or pleasant overall flavor. After multiple attempts, I found that it is almost impossible to track down a glass travel mug whose lid will accommodate a glass straw, and vice-versa. Now what!? Surprisingly, these heart-shaped straws really do fit my requirements. For one thing, you can enjoy the feeling of those hearts--VERY PRONOUNCED!--with lips and tongue all through your sipping session. However, the straws' shape is not so intrusive as to detract from the drinking experience as, say, a flower might be. It conforms nicely to the lips, so you feel as if you are USING a straw even while enjoying a novelty item. Second, these do not taste like the typical plastic featured in, say, commercial bendy straws. I detect no flavor at all--certainly not that of the typical highly-absorbant plastics. Third, these are exceedingly sturdy. They work for hot or cold beverages, which is important for this time in my life. They'd be a bit small for chunky soups, but they're perfect for chai, shakes, cocoa, and, of course, water. They are flexible enough to cut, should you deem that necessary--sometimes we do. These are disposable--that's why you get so many!--but we have successfully washed and reused them from time to time, depending on the drink. And I do love the heart shape--it adds pink, and COLOR in general, to my life and to my entire medical experience. I will definitely be buying these again.

I bought these as a surprise for my mother for our coffee “dates”! These straws are PERFECT with a capital P! Thicker plastic so there is no chance of breaking or snapping them while putting in a drink (which typical straws do, especially in tight lids). The heart shape? SO SWEET! The shape did not affect the straws function at all. So no worries of sipping and spraying from the little heart shape. The value? Perfect. Quality? Amazing. Not kidding! She loves them so much she actually washed some of them to use again!100/10 highly recommended!

Listen, I'm all about saving our planet and protecting the turtles but.. I can't stand the paper straws everyones using these days. I also use straws to drink both iced and hot coffee to keep my smile pearly white. So I ordered these plastic straws to keep in my car. The fact that they are heart shaped and pink is what sold me on them but the fact that they're all individually wrapped was a plus!When I went to use one today I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy these straws are. You could definitely wash and reuse them a few times if you wanted to.So if you're in the market for some adorable, quality plastic straws I would highly recommend these!
