Works just like the Topens one on my other gate

very good product for the money (Mageway 24VDC Lock )
Bought it to work with LiftMaster LA500 gate operator. Wiring is simple, if 24V DC power is available. Lock mechanism is good and strong. Keep in mind that your power supply should provide enough amp to drive the lock and the operator together, if you are using the gate operator power supply to operate the lock.

It secures my gate !
Liked: it holds its own, secure and works as intended. Good price - you get what you pay for. It's strong, rugged, and performs well.Don't like: the electrical cable is long enough to connect to control box for 13' foot gates, but not long enough for 14' ft or longer gates. You will need to buy additional cable, or longer cable to do so with Longer gates 😮💨.

not always compatable
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The extra very small circuit board add on provided to make it work with a 24v gate did not work correctly even though I followed the wiring instructions. i have a topens automatic gate A5 so a very standard brand. In order to get it to work I had to buy a step down converter from 24v to 12v and but it in line between the control box and the gate lock.

Impressive Gate Lock
This gate lock is far better than the more expensive locks on Amazon. Installation was super easy and lock works perfectly.

Disappointing Quality and Lack of Warranty
I bought this gate lock hoping it would be a reliable, heavy-duty solution—but it really fell short. The magnet coil failed after just 8 hours of being in the unlocked mode. My plan was to leave the gate open during the day and lock it at night, which doesn't seem like too much to ask.On top of that, it caused a short circuit, which is a serious safety issue. To make things worse, there was no 1-year warranty coverage, even though it's advertised as a durable product. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

Works great and customer service A++
Installation was very straight forward. The company provided me with a wiring diagram specific to my opener model. My gate opens/closes at least 20 times a day and this far it’s worked flawlessly.
