Cordless Lawnmower 33cm with Battery and Charger 18V PXC

I bought this for my uncle who has dementia and it could be difficult and dangerous for him to use an electric lawnmower with cable so that has been discarded now. I had it delivered to him direct ( next day delivery) and then put it together which was an absolute breeze then showed him and his wife how to charge, use the starter key and actually use the mower. It cuts really well with plenty of height adjustment to get the perfect cut and has a basket that we only needed to empty twice before completing both front and back lawns. Still some power left in the battery after the cut but topped it up ready for next time. I have to say ( I use a petrol mower for my larger garden) it is so easy to use and very light weight which means his wife will be able to use it as well or help him with it easily. It made me think that when I replace my mower I would certainly consider the more powerful version. Would highly recommend and at the price which includes the battery and charger which is more expensive bought separately it’s a bargain. I reviewed lots before making this purchase on their behalf and it achieved good results on a few sites including “ Gardeners World” so lots of real positives . For small to medium garden owners it’s a no brainer in my opinion!

This suits our small irregular shaped lawn well. It was bought to replace a wired one and is much easier to use. No leads trailing across pathways and flower beds. It's easy to store and light enough for me. Both my husband and I are elderly with mobility issues but I can manhandle it out of the shed too. It's a bit fiddly to fit the battery but one charge lasts for a good half hour of mowing. It collects the grass well and it's easy to adjust the blade height. We've had it a year now and it's been good.

Purchased (18/33 with battery mower) on offer and not disappointed with the cut or power but little unsure on quality maybe. However purchase is just for allotment grass. I needed a good height adjustment (uneven ground rather than aesthetic finish or grass health) and this mower has a lever on the top/side for that so easy. Others you seem to have to move the wheels which seems bit fiddly. Yes it’s mainly plastic but it’s good enough quality and low weight. The battery compartment takes one but as an Einhell ‘collector’ you will probably have a spare for larger lawns. Blade a bit long but fine for my use so if you have uneven lawn ground a shorter blade likely better. Battery quick to charge. Whilst I don’t usually have much negative say about Einhell I will say that the handle struts make the unit feel a little ‘cheap’ maybe, which it isnt at full price (nearly 170.00, paid 128.00 so dont ever pay full) Have picked up some missed stones on allotment and blade house had zero damage so plastic body is strong. Overall - decent but will be treating more gently.

The mower is supplied with only a few things necessary to do prior to use, such as charging the battery and putting on the handle. Once charged the battery clips in the front. There is an additional safety key that also has to be in place before the mower is 'live'. The final thing to do before use is to adjust the cutting height. To use the mower a safety button must be pressed by one hand followed by squeezing the bar on the handle with the other. There is then a slight lag before the motor starts. Once the bar is pressed the safety button can be released. This sequence is important as it means that rather than applying power intermittently, I tend to keep the bar depressed which obviously uses more battery. I have a number of Einhell power X-change tools and batteries so battery life is not a problem for me as I can just slip in a new battery when the old one is exhausted. My garden is larger than the recommended size and, more importantly, fiddly with a number of sloping surfaces. I find a full battery will not cover the whole cut unless the lawn length is well under control but I would say the battery life is good. The mower is light (for a lawn mower) so works well on my slopes and is easy to carry up steps. The grass box is a reasonable and manageable size and the quality of the cut is good. This mower is smaller than the one I had before but it does not take me any longer to mow the grass as it is so much easier to manoeuvre. I am very happy with Einhell tools and using this mower in a medium sized garden. I would happily buy it again.

I have so many Einhell battery products, I have tested this little machine to its limits in an uneven paddock. It definitely has impressed me given it is mowing long straggly grass, thistles, weeds and has ploughed through it all on the highest setting. The grass collector needs emptying regularly but like any other mowers, I would strongly recommend extra battery/ies. I purchased extras for all the cordless tools and have 2 chargers now. This is the inly downside that the battery runs out quickly so you need to have another one at the ready. I have used their customer service too and have found them helpful. I cant compare to other battery/cordless products as haven’t used them. This is light, easy to manoeuvre and has saved my back from having to fire up a petrol one or use a brush cutter in the paddock.

This works well and is very lightweight, which is what I wanted. It does what I want and keeps the grass short (well, it would if it wasn't all scorched now!). The battery fitting was not intuitive at all to this customer and fitting it was one of those things you have to put down to experience. Otherwise it works well and cuts my front lawn entirely on one charge.

Cuts well and lasts a decent amount of time before needing a charge. Battery a bit fiddly to slide back in, but not too bad. Probably best suited for a smaller garden.

Ok as a basic mower with the convenience of being cordless - suitable for small/medum size lawns. Lightweight so easy to use and carry around. I could fully charge the battery in an hour and a quarter. Battery life not great but enough for a once over on a lawn around 75 sq metres. Fairly easy to assemble. I did notice the lack of power in terms of suction. The lawn clippings get picked up but some other debris (leaves etc) were not all picked up. My previous corded Hyundai sucked everything up. No roller so no stripes.

Attention donc à ne pas se fier exactement aux 200 m² indiqués sur la fiche, qui me paraissent un peu optimistes. Le choix de la hauteur de coupe est très pratique, avec une manette qui ressemble à un levier de vitesse, et la conception est bonne dans l'ensemble. Le logement de la batterie est bien protégé par un capot transparent, avec un fusible de sécurité fourni. Livrée avec un chargeur et la batterie 4 Ah. Le montage n'est pas compliqué, le récupérateur de gazon s'enlève facilement et peut se poser par-dessus le corps principal pour gagner de la place, et le guidon se plie sur la moitié. 🔴 Seul vrai point négatif pour moi : impossible de le plier complètement à plat, ou de le retirer facilement (il faut un outil), pour gagner de la place au rangement. À part ça, la tondeuse remplit très bien son rôle de tonte régulière, et la double sécurité pour activer le moteur est, comme pour la plupart des tondeuses, bien pensée. 4/5

Cut the grass perfect. Easy to start. The machine is strong so it is really easy to use it, you dont need so much strength to push it. Easy to charge and the battery capacity is really good. The machine is overall easy to use and you can feel that is built with high quality, comes with 10 years guarantee. Hi highly recommend it.

Mäht gut, selbst recht grobes, höheres Gras. Gut, der Akku hält nicht ewig und den Korb muss man öfters leeren, aber das war nicht anders erwartet. Er ist schön leicht, für mich als kleinere Frau auch gut bedienbar und für den Preis klasse. Über eine vorhandene oder nicht vorhandene Langlebigkeit kann ich leider noch nichts sagen...
