Update at one year: On half of the VF 4 undies, the elastic at the side seams are coming apart. Worn and washed 1 day per week. 52 gentle wash cycles on cold, hung to dry. While I don’t expect delicate fabrics to last forever, this seems to be a common issue the manufacturer could resolve. Most of my Jockey underwear still next to new. Original review: This style is so nice. I was surprised how good the fit was. All the edges are finished. Nice quality. The cotton panel runs a little narrow, and I don’t think intended for those days of the month. My husband said, “Finally you got some sexy under ware”! So, for me they are everyday. For him, they are nice too, which rarely happens. The rise comes 1 inch under my Belly button.

Mixed bag
I was trying to replace an older model of Vanity Fair panties and these are not at all the same. My old ones were 100% nylon from early 2020's. First of all these run smaller so I recommend sizing up if you find yourself in a similar situation. Also these have spandex added to the nylon. This creates a sense of light support which is ok, but the spandex makes them feel very warm while exercising. Also there is a bulky side seam on the left that cut in to my waist that I had to cover with ribbon on one of the pairs and one of the pairs had a torn seam right out of the package. If you get the right size and if you aren't exercising, they might be just what you are looking for. I'm going to keep looking.
