These little owl gadgets are really great and depending where you locate them, they alert you to anyone who enters your property. Noise level is good and they are very easy to set up. I bought two and one is near front of house and the other is at the rear. Will buy more now that I know they really work well.

After the reading some of the reviews I thought I'd leave it a while till I posted mine, and I can confirm that mine works very well and have had zero problems. It's very easy to set up, the battery life is excellent as mines been up since March and it's now the start of July. I bought this alarm because I had a motorbike stolen last year and having this alarm alerts me whenever someone comes near my house where my motorbike is parked, it gives me peace of mind and added security to know that someone is there. The alarm noise is loud and I can hear it well, the best thing about it is that you can have different alarm noises for each sensor, I bought two, one for the front of the house and one for the back, so I can instantly tell by from the alarm noise which part of the house has a visitor. I think this is a good product and would recommend it to anyone.

I have been using these on my drive for a few months now and they’re excellent. They were easy to set and worked straight away. I would have given them 5 stars however I am a bit disappointed in the battery life, in my case I have to change then about every 2-3 weeks.

Before getting your hammer drill out, try and mount the "owls" on a temporary perch. you need to position the sensors so they pick up movement across the field of view. If you mount the sensor above a door and someone walks directly towards the door, it is unlikely to pick them up, especially if you use the low sensitivity position. Some experimentation is essential if you are to get the optimum performance. You get spare mounting screws, but not spare screws for the battery cover. The battery cover has a rubber gasket which is much better than some similar outdoor units, and there are threaded inserts for the battery cover screws. The quality looks to be excellent.

After recently being a victim of autocrime I wanted a way of detecting if someone came onto my driveway, this little gadget seems the perfect answer. For the first 2 months it's worked great however then its started to stop working. The outdoor sensor on my drive way keeps beeping like a smoke alarm. I assumed that this may be because the batteries are running low but since changing the batteries it is still doing it... The second sensor has stopped working altogether and it was also missing a screw when it arrived. Up until I encountered these issues I would have rated the device as 4 stars, purely because the instructions that arrived were poor and its not that easy to work out which switch in the back of the device alters the distance. Its been quite a pricey endeavour considering it broke after 2 months...

What a great product & so simple to fix. We have had a spate of rural crime in the village we live in whereby garden plants, ornaments & sheds have been targeted. It has given us real peace of mind that we are now alerted if someone enters our property & approaches the front or back of the house.

The Owl alarm system is great! It's attractive (cute even) and very easy to set up. I like that it has so many types of alarms (35) and different levels of sound. You can choose between 4 volume levels. The receiver (alarm part) is plugged into an outlet in your home or work area in a spot where you can easily hear it from all levels of your home. The sound quality is very good. My husband is hard of hearing but has no problem hearing it when it's on it's loudest setting. We have wild ducks, pheasants, deer, foxes, turtles and beaver here and so far no false alarms! However, if someone drives along the driveway it picks them up quite easily. I raise Irish Setters so I was concerned about them setting it off, so we placed it in an area so that if they head down the driveway to leave the property, we get an alarm in time to call them back. Also, if people walk onto the property, it warns us as well. Our sensors are a good distance from our home, yet still work accurately. I haven't rated the battery life of the sensors, as our system is new, however, if I find that it isn't as good as expected after time, I will update my review. I purchased the set with two sensors. I wish I had ordered a larger set. I will order some extra motion sensors later. We plan to place one to warn us of animals/people near our chicken coop/run and our adjoining dog/puppy run as well as at each access point of our property. We have one set up that will warn us if someone enters our garage or back door area - especially at night. The dogs will warn us if someone enters from the other doors. :) This is a great price for a simple to use but well-working alarm system. I highly recommend it.

I now have several of these and they work great. In my opinion 100% worth it to buy for an option where you don’t have to pay monthly plans for security. Very easy to setup, plenty of alarm sounds to choose from, and the durability seems to hold up great in the rain and cold weather with good battery life. You can set different tones to each separate motion sensor and change the volume on the receiver in case it’s too loud or too quiet which is great. The range on the sensors is actually really good as advertised and with multiple sensors with different ringtones on each one, I can know when someone pulls in the front of my long driveway entrance, when they actually get to my houses driveway, or when motion is detected inside my storage building. If they all were the same sound you wouldn’t know where the motion actually was if you have multiple sensors on one receiver. Would buy again and definitely would recommend to someone else!
