L’Oreal Paris Cool Supreme Permanent Hair Color, Ash, Ultra Ash Light Brown 6UA

Covers stubborn grey (with exception to part of my temples/area near the ear, that area is so hard to dye). My hair pulls red, like a brassy, rusty red. Although my hair is grey my dye will naturally pull red. Dyes labeled “ash” never seem to work. I have tried around 4 different store bought “ash” shades and they’ve all pulled red. This is the first that had given me an ash tone (I still see some red but overall it had really improved). Other than going to a salon this seems like the best option for me. The dyeing process was clean, I didn’t have any staining on my skin. Because I had previously dyed with a similar shade, I didn’t roots for 20 min, then put more in the mid-lengths for five to seven more minutes, then did the rest (mid-length to ends) for another five. Very pleased with the results. Will definitely keep ordering. You can see the difference, the before is very auburn, the after is darker/more toned. I like the variation of color. With subsequent dyeing I think it will look better. Note: there are some wet sections as it was after I had lightly blow dried my hair. Fourth pic was just after root touch-up (second time using this product).

Hade my hair bleached a month ago professionally. Toner turner it orange/red. Did research on this color and I'm impressed with the result. My goal was for a dark/dirty blonde. And I think it did the trick. Neutralizes warm tones and made my hair more natural looking.1st pic is before, the other 2 are after in different lighting.

I had medium/dark dyed hair and went to salon to try to go lighter and ended up with orange/super super brassy dark blonde hair instead or the ashy dark blonde/light brown my hair naturally is which is what I wanted to get back to. I was afraid to use this to be honest but was very surprised with how well it came out. I applied to the extra brassy parts of my hair roots and top part for 20 min then the middle and ends of my hair for 10. I have thick longer hair and needed two boxes but that’s normal for me. This brought my hair back to the natural color! To get an idea, check out Smokey dark blonde or light brown, or the mushroom color that’s trending right now. The shampoo was pretty useless it’s barely tinted purple it would be better if they had an actual blue shampoo. The conditioner that comes with it is pretty nice and heavy on the blue tones over the purple and worked well. I will use this again when need if my hair fades

The color came out really nice and the ash tone looks natural on my hair. I also liked that it didn’t leave my hair feeling too dry afterward. The color was a little different from what I expected, but overall Im happy with the result and would use it again

Doesn’t cover grey hair

I've been coloring my hair with box dye for decades. I am 100% grey at this juncture and need to color every 3 weeks or so. My hair tends to pull brass so I have been using color with ash tones. THIS is my landing page. I don't pull any brass with this product and the color suits my skintone perfectly. The blue conditioner included gives my hair extra anti brass protection and leaves my hair silky and tangle free. cool the color helps with brassiness

Had to cancel a hair appt several times because of a cold and needed my hair colored badly before vacation. I've been dying to try the mushroom hair trend and saw a commercial for this color and bought it in minutes. I have long medium brown hair that always pulls red so I prefer ash toned browns (switch between light and medium depending on season). I have been coloring my hair myself for about 15 years. My old ash toned color was always perfect before I had to switch as I got more grey because they don't cover, but my new brand didn't come in ash tones. Got 6UA (light ultra ash brown). Left on for about 35 minutes. I love the comb like applicator and felt like missed less hair using it vs the normal tip applicator. The bottle shape was easy to hold and not slippery. One box covered all of my hair. I didn't think the smell was too bad (prob your normal dye smell). When dry i'd say I got 90% of my greys covered which is pretty impressive for me. I'm curious about the purple shampoo choice in the box vs blue for brown hair (I do currently use blue shampoo and do feel like it combats orange tones perfectly) so I thought i'd give it a try. I didn't use the conditioner because the toning products are very drying and I had already used my blue shampoo within the past week so I used my regular conditioner. I should have listened to my gut because when I took the towel off of my hair to comb it my roots (where my hair is naturally medium brown) are orange. I am going to have to wash it again w/the blue shampoo and see if it takes it out. I will update. Update: I officially have no idea why they included purple shampoo with this kit for toning for brunette shades. A few days later I used my normal blue shampoo and 90% of the brass is gone. I may try the medium ash brown shade next time but I def won't be bothering with the purple s&c in the kit.

I had a different experience with this product. I used the same shade, but it didn’t make any noticeable change to my hair or provide the coverage I expected. I also noticed that the color of the mixture inside the bottle was light blue, while in some videos it looked more purple, which was a bit confusing. Overall, it didn’t work as I had hoped
