I really liked this mascara. It gives my lashes a nice lift and volume without making them look clumpy or heavy. The wand makes it easy to coat the lashes and build it up if you want a more dramatic look. It wears well throughout the day and does not flake all over my face, which is a big plus. I also like that it gives my lashes length while still looking pretty and separated. Overall, it is a really good mascara and one I would buy again.

I am a senior who long ago gave up wearing mascara due to all the bother. My lashes, which used to be long and lush, are now thin and scraggly. This mascara does a good job, the brush is nicely shaped. I wear mascara only occasionally and the slightly smaller sized tube is convenient, to avoid having to discard a big tube after the recommended 3 months.

Have consistently used for years. Stays on all day and does not smudge . I tried many brands from the highest to the lowest. I always buy on prime day! I use daily and now so does my daughter !

I’ve tried a lot of mascaras, but this one quickly became a favorite. It gives my lashes noticeable length and lift without feeling heavy or looking clumpy. The curved brush makes it easy to coat every lash, even the tiny ones in the corners. It lasts all day, doesn’t smudge or flake, and still feels lightweight. My lashes look defined, separated, and naturally fuller. Definitely worth trying if you want a clean, lifted lash look. ✨

This LANCÔME Lash Idôle mascara has really become my new favorite. I have naturally short eyelashes that tend to point downward, just something I was born with, and while I'm working on using eyelash serums to help them grow longer, I still need a mascara that can really elongate and lift what I've got. My routine is to use my Shiseido eyelash curler which is meant for flatter eyes first to coax my stubborn short lashes upward, follow up with a Heroine Make primer, and then apply this LANCÔME Idôle lash lifting mascara. The lift I get from it is honestly impressive. I also really like the brush design because instead of a typical spiral brush, it has more of a spiky texture that separates each of my thin lashes so they end up fanned out and defined rather than clumped together. It coats every lash consistently and does not clump at all no matter how many times I layer it. It pairs really well with my Heroine make primer too, with no clumping or any kind of adverse reaction between the two products, they genuinely work well together. The lift is noticeable enough that people have actually asked if I'm wearing false lashes, which is such an unexpected compliment for someone with naturally short, straight, stubborn lashes like mine. As for the tube I'm currently using, I've had it for a couple of months now and I know the general guidance is to replace mascara every three months, but the formula still performs just as well despite the time that's passed. That longevity makes me feel like it's worth the price point, and I'll admit LANCÔME is on the pricier side for mascara. I have also tried their Curl Goddess mascara from the same line, but this Idôle formula still comes out on top for me because of how the brush head is shaped and how consistently it delivers that clump free, lifted lash look.

This item recieves great reviews. I'm going to be honest. Pros: it is lightweight on your eyelashes. It looks very natural. Smooth clumpless application. Comes off easy with makeup wipes. Cons: it wasn't exactly flake free After about 4 hours of regular wear I'd find tiny specks of mascara on my cheeks and in my eyes which was bothersome. I guess I could have gotten a bad/old batch. BUT... I didn't find the mascara to be lifting nor volumizing than any other mascara but that may be just my experience. My natural lashes are mid lenghth and straight-ish. So a bit stubborn. If you have naturally longer eyelashes this might give you a nicer impact say for a long lashed blonde.

At first, I wasn’t sure about the price, but this mascara is genuinely worth it. I’d say it’s worth buying over a regular mascara under £10 because it holds really well. It separates the lashes very well so they don’t clump. With other mascaras I find they stick the lashes together in clumps and it ends up looking like you have fewer lashes, which kind of defeats the purpose. With this one, it gives a bit of length but also a nice perceived volume because the lashes stay separated. If you are not sure about this mascara after trying it for the 1st time, I’d recommend trying it in different angles. The wand has a slight curve, so depending on your eye shape or how your lashes grow (some go downwards, some upwards), it can make a big difference. I use the wand curve down (if that makes sense). I’d highly recommend playing around with the wand and how you hold it. Depending on how I want my lashes to look, I change the angle I use it at. I also don’t really start by rubbing at the lash line and wiggling through to the ends, which is what a lot of people do, because I find that can make the lashes clump. Instead, I gently comb through from the base of the lashes to the tips. Then to extend them, I lightly dab through the ends of the lashes and sweep outwards. This helps build length without clumping, because the more coats you apply, the clumpier they can get with any mascara!

The best mascara I’ve ever had, creates longer lashes, doesn’t glue the lashes together too much, doesn’t crumble and leave mess under the eyes after a long wear.
