LIBRATON Heavy Duty Rivet Gun Kit, Pop Rivet Gun with Hand Riveter Tool

Bought this pop rivit gun to replace my broken one, different brand. I am impressed with the quality vs cost. It works great with little effort on your hands. It also handles several rivit sizes.

It is a rivet gun that works like it is supposed to. Nothing special. 5 stars for working as intended.

The kit is labeled with sizes and the metal type of the rivets. I bought this unit for a single job. It was on sale for 12$ I like how the river heads and rivers are both labeled for sizes and it come WITH the same sized drill bits. For small DIY projects this is a good value. If you are using for projects done for work, I would recommend a sturdier unit. There is some play in the handle and I won’t expect it to last longer than the number of rivets that were included.

Only needed to use it once but it worked great

I used a pop rivet gun every working day for 20 yrs and this one is as good as any I used back then. I was a little worried because I had recently purchased a new rivet gun from Home Depot (a rather expensive one) and it was a big piece of junk. It wouldn't release the stem after the rivet was installed. I saw the instructions for this one, and it says to hold the gun upside down to let the stem fall out the back side (which told me that this company knows that problems like this exist and they have already addressed the issue). So, I took a chance and bought it. The gun works great. I didn't have to do none of that "flipping over" stuff. The stems fall right out the front like you would expect. This gun (quality and durability) matches the gun I used professionally for twenty years. (Looks just like it too!)

Very hard to use. Much more difficult than my previous gun. All of the accompanying rivets were the same diameter and some so short they do not seem they would fit any project except something the depth of a piece of paper

It worked well for my needs, attaching a roof rack bracket to my truck. It does take some pretty good hand strength for the bigger rivets. Last time I used pop rivets, it was working on aircraft and we used pneumatic ones. Definitely easier, but costlier. It appears to be well made and no issues.

Night this to fix my son’s truck and so far it’s been excellent, it came promptly and packaged well, it’s light weight but not too light because it has been pretty sturdy as well. I’m impressed by how well it’s working and hopefully it’ll last for a long time. Just started using it so time will tell, if it fails within a shorter than expected timeframe then I’ll be back to say it. Otherwise I’d say for the price of this it’s definitely 👍 worth the money !

I had a rivet pop out on my dog's buggy recently, and some of the rivets on the framing of my garage door had disappeared over some years (buggy being the urgent issue!). I doubt I will use this little gun that often, I have survived up to now without one, but it did a cracking job on the garage door as practice. Buggy took two goes to get right, but that was the awkward angle of attack rather than the gun's fault. It probably wouldn't be up to heavy duty, continuous use - it is pretty cheap after all, cheap enough to leave in the tool box for years - but for occasional emergency repairs, it is perfect and comes with an adequate supply of rivets in sundry sizes to get you started. I have only used the shanks of the drill bits for sizing, but they seem pretty sharp and are a nice bonus. No issues ejecting the spent pins either.
