A healthcare provider suggested I try this supplement. It did work well the first time I used it and hasn't been as effective the next times. I have personal hesitation to take it too often. It was easy to swallow and the product is fresh.

I can tell who did poorly in chemistry in even with my last chemistry course being about 20 years ago.This product is Magnesium Oxide not Magnesium. MgO is one Magnesium atom bonded to 1 Oxygen atom. This means 400mg of MgO is an equal number of each atom. When the label says 240mg of Magnesium (Mg), you are not being deceived about it being 400mg of MgO, as the other 160mg is the Oxygen (O).Now that that's out of the way, different types of Magnesium do different things for you.Magnesium Citrate is easy absorbed but has a laxative effect. This is an easily absorbed source of Magnesium. This commonly comes as a liquid you drink to relieve constipation. Think of the viral videos of people drinking 2 bottles as quickly as possible. (It should be noted 1 bottle is the maximum recommended dosage of this form and you should not participate in this trend unless you want to risk harm).Magnesium Oxide is a naturally occurring form but poorly absorbed. It is used for heartburn, indigestion, and constipation. This does not raise your Magnesium levels and is purely for digestive relief. That's what is in this supplement.Magnesium Chloride MgCl2 is absorbed well for raising your Mg levels. Wow! I wish I would have known about this decades ago. I purchased this for my restless leg syndrome and I just finished week 2 and it has gotten better so far but didn't even know of the other benifits. I've been a food/sugar addict for 30years and NEVER had anything take my sugar cravings away completely, it's absolutely nuts to me but I'm so greatful. Plus, my mood is changing, people think I'm a different person, Who Knew magnesium did all this. As for the other benifits, with time I'm sure I'll notice more.. its only been 2 weeks.
