Great Pump exact fit
Went in great on my 2000 Silverado 1500.Had to splice in the new connector but that was expected. No issues trucks starts easy and had much more pickup

Garbage!
The media could not be loaded. This is my 2nd pump. First was replaced within 1 day of install- as the fuel level/float level didn’t work- gauge showed empty. 2nd pump worked, drove the truck for 1 day, parked it for about 3-4 weeks, tried to start, hesitated and I had to prime/crank it twice. The fuel level showed empty, again. And now there’s this sound from the pump.This might be from the delfi store, but it’s knock off quality garbage! I don’t have THAT bad of luck to get 2 bogus pumps back to back, while everyone else has great outcomes. Maybe they had a bad batch, I don’t know- but now I’m having to buy another pump, again! First one lasted over 150k miles, this one didn’t even last 20.

It works
It was a straight forward replacement. I hope it last a good while. Saw some comments on not lasting 😬 installed at 245390 miles. Will update if /when fails.

Great Pump at a Great Amazon Price
Check valve stopped working on the old pump so it would take to three attempts to start my 2001 Chevy Silverado. This fuel pump is with a new style plug so some wires needed to be cut. No big deal, everything included in the package. There was one other difference. There was no screen that I could find. I consider that to be a good improvement because that is what the fuel filter is for.We removed the bed because we found that was a lot easier. Four neighbors lifted up and moved it back about 3 feet, set the front of the bed on the rear tires while two guys by the tail gate held on. Swapped out the pump and moved the bed back into position. I bought the beer and we were done.No problems with this pump. You can't go wrong with a Delphi!

Sticking with OEM pump
My 5th GM OBS pump replacement on (Tahoe, K1500 and 3 - C1500's) using OEM Delco pump and not a single premature failure yet. Easy install, guaranteed fit and simple pigtail swap with all the necessary parts. Stick with what works.
