IWB Kydex Holster for Mossberg MC2C

I just started learning about guns. If I knew what I knew a few months ago, I would've have bought a Mossberg MC2c not because it is a bad gun (in fact, I love the gun). But because it is extremely difficult buying accessories for it. There are lots of holsters made for Glock, Sig...etc. But not really for MC2C (along with all the other accessories, if you're into that).My firearm instructor is against finding "general purpose" or "one size fits all" holsters. So when I finally found this one, I was happy. It fits perfectly, it has a "click" at the end when it is secured.Key qualities my instructo asks for in a holster:1. Completely covers trigger guard. Check.2. Holds gun securelty without external pressures. It "clicks" at the end, so won't fall out if you turn around upside down. Check.3. Allows for full grip on the gun at draw. Check.Lastly, on the range training with other students, one of the students came and asked me, "Hey do you have a gun for class?" So, conceal carry, check.FYI I carry Inside the Waist Band (IWB) around 5 o'lock.If you don't have a MC2C, and your main goal is home defense / self defense... I would recommend you buy another gun. But if you just like the gun, or already have other guns, or whatever reason you have a MC2C and need a holster, I'd recommend this one.

I didn’t realize just how difficult it would be to find a Kydex holster for the MC2c until after purchasing the pistol. I own a belly band as well for whenever I’m wearing basketball shorts or sweatpants, however the retention strap and snap makes it a little slower to draw than I’d prefer for concealed carry on a day-to-day basis. I’m also not a fan of “universal” holsters that don’t securely retain.This holster is one of the few options available for the Mossberg, regardless of pricing. I don’t quite understand this, as both the MC2c and its little brother the MC2sc are excellent pistols for everyday carry, but here we are. Quality seems to be better than expected for the price point. The Kydex is nice and well-molded, and provides adequate trigger coverage and slide coverage against my side. I carry at 4 o’clock, minimal to no printing depending on my clothing choice for that day.I only really have two gripes with this holster. The first is that there’s no factory option for a claw. As I don’t Gucci up my CCW with a mounted light or red dot, allowances for those aren’t important to me. I have a universal claw on order, so we’ll see how that works.My other complaint is that the cant isn’t adjustable enough from the factory, and ride height isn’t at all. The belt clip slots need just a little more length. Maybe one of these days I’ll get brave with the Dremel and see what I can do about that.Overall, if you don’t mind either possibly modifying it a little yourself, and you subscribe to carrying a separate light and don’t need a red dot, this is an excellent holster for its price point.

I’m really pleased with the quality of the holster specially made for the Mossberg MC2c.

I had a hard time finding one that would be good for mossberg mc2c. I this IWB holster it covers the trigger, has click to assure it's locked, easy to adjust.Very comfortable.

Perfect fit, has just the right amount of tension to hold the gun safe and securely. I wear it every day. I have ran with gun in holster and rolled around on the floor with it and the gun will not fall out. It does exactly what a holster should do and I like that it does not use straps, magnets, or internal plastic pieces to secure gun. It is perfectly molded for the Mossberg Mc2c.

It fits, does it's job and feels good in the hand. But why wouldn't it extend another 1cm at the point with the magazine release button? I fear at some point I might accidently push the button and end up with just one round in the chamber in an emergency.

Fits secure Lines up perfectly with belt loops. Very secure and not any larger than it has to be, would by again.

Great for the price. One of my daily carries and need to by another for my wife
