These work first try! Very impressive
These work so well on the first try! I've bought other waxing strips that weren't great at getting all the hair on the first pull. They'd get some but leave patches behind and you had to continually reuse the strip or a new one over again just to get one area done. So I put on the first strip of one of these and pulled it off and all the hair came with it! I was so pleasantly surprised. Not only that but it comes off how you would expect a professional doing it. It doesnt leave a bunch of residue behind (and the little it does comes off completely with the wipe provided) and for me, all the hair in the area that I placed the strip came off when I pulled the strip off. I'm very impressed. I've used other wax strips and even wax that you melt the jar in the microwave then place strips over thay and none of those ever did so well what these do. I will for sure be buying more. Also, im sure this is different for each person, but my skin, while a little red after waxing, wasn't irritated or bruised or even very tender. I think the strips just work so well the first try that they dont abuse your skin like I've had other ones do. Anyway, these are great, please don't discontinue them or change the formula now that I've found what actually works for me!

New Favorite Wax Strips
Love, love, love these! They are ~$11 at my local grocery store so I was happy to find them on Amazon for cheaper. I used the Sally Hansen ones for a while and then tried making sugar wax at home. I loved it until one batch went horribly wrong and became a super sticky mess. So it was back to Sally Hansen, but I since grown fed up with them because 1) they were quite painful (the numbing wipes weren't too helpful) 2) didn't remove all the hair (maybe 75% and missed thinner hairs) 3) in about 50% of what I bought, the wax was dry and not tacky at all (I thought this was due to high heat melting it and then getting messed up when it cooled again, but turns out a lot of others had this problem so it's probably the product). I gave these strips a shot because I needed something else. Pros/cons/tips - quite cheap, easy to use, removes 99% of hair - not painful except in more sensitive areas (around my ankles usually hurt a bit more) - I can get from my knees down on both legs with 1 box (I'm 5'10 so I've got a lotta leg). I don't really reuse the strip so it could theoretically be less than a box. - reusing a strip seems to leave more wax behind - leaving the strip on too long leaves more wax behind - pulls short hairs and thin hairs well - the oil wipes get the excess wax off - focus on where the wax is a rub a bit until it's gone (simply wiping over it will not remove the excess wax) - it left bumps on part of my leg that were gone in a few hours, but another time there were 0 bumps. Probably depends on the state of my legs before shaving - maybe make sure they're clean and dry - no burning, itchness or pain afterward - make sure you pull your skin taught and don't life upward - lift back on the strip staying as close to your skin as possible

Kids, Don't Try this At Home. Or Ever.
It started out promising. I peeled the little pieces apart and stuck them on very carefully in neat rows and let them sit for a while, so my legs were basically covered in what looked like huge pink pads. On the box it says “no longer needs to be rubbed to warm up the wax” so I figured hey, it might work better if I really rub it on there because obviously at one point in their product's lifespan, it needed heat. So I’m sitting on the bathroom floor rubbing my legs frantically to create friction because I can't find a hairdryer nearby. After about eight minutes, I try to peel one off. Not only is it incredibly painful, it leaves a huge square of sticky pink goo on my leg. However, I did get like five pieces of hair out so I was like YES. IT’S (sort of) WORKING. OKAY-ISH. So then I was like, I must not have held my skin down hard enough like they tell you to on the box. With one hand I’m pinching my leg like a crab while twisting to pull with the other hand and ripped as hard as I could. The strip of wax flew out of my hand right into my forehead. (Wrong hairs!!!) I got it off fast enough that it only took half my scalp with it and created a temporary set of (pink, gooey) bangs for me to enjoy. This time I took a very hard look at how much hair it was taking off because ouch. Unfortunately not much, maybe ten hairs, and I still had only gotten two tiny patches of leg finished, so I gave up and ripped away until I had gotten all the pieces off. By this time my legs looked like they had been attacked by thousands of bees - literally covered in leftover pink goo and bits of hair that hadn't been torn out, and wherever hair had been successfully removed, my skin was irritated, bumpy and splotchy. I hobbled into the shower to remove the pink goo and IT WOULD NOT REMOVE. I spent an hour and a half scrubbing wildly at my legs with a washcloth, scratching, soaping, razoring, soaking... that. stuff. is. intense. The ironic part is that the goo took bits of the washcloth with it, so the poor washcloth ended up denuded and my legs covered in blue cloth bits. In the end it was needless to use the wax strips to remove the hair because I’d practically removed my entire first layer of skin anyway in my attempt to remove the pink goo. I went to bed at 11 defeated and resigned, with pink blotches all over my legs like I was dying of some horrible disease. The upside was that my bedsheets were permanently glued to my legs all night so at least no one could steal the covers. This morning I tore the sheets off my legs and spent another hour and a half sitting on my bedroom floor scratching the goo off my legs before work. I'd prefer hairy legs to pink gooey legs any day. Never. Again.

Doesn't work so well on thicker hair
Update: After a few uses, it does get a lot easier and more effective. Still not sure it's the most cost effective way to go, looking into an epilator instead. I've increased my rating by 1 star because it does work better over time. I still wasn't getting 2 or more uses out of a strip, but each strip was more effective. First off, this was my first time trying such a product. For other beginners, some tips I have learned: Make sure to exfoliate, make sure to relax, and make sure to apply in exactly the same direction the hair falls naturally. I have pretty thick hair unfortunately, so I was looking for an easier way to get rid of it. These work... sorta. They are pretty gentle and smell very nice. They do get a lot of the hair, but I had to do multiple tries on the same area pretty consistently and still ended up tweezing a lot of stubborn hairs. I'm not sure why, but I was barely getting 2 uses out of one strip. Other reviewers mentioned being able to reuse strips but this wasn't really my experience. Also, if the direction of the hairs growth is slightly different from the direction you applied the strip, it will struggle. I think this is a pretty expensive solution for how much body area I could cover with one kit. The wipes were fantastic though, I would love to be able to buy 50 of those alone.

Brand new to waxing, so far impressed
This is a first impression review. I just used this about 10 minutes ago, so my opinion could be updated in time. I have shaved for many years now. I got sick of doing it, so I stopped. My hairs have grown extremely thick and coarse. They're borderline manly. I wear pantyhose whenever my legs are shown. But summer's coming soon and I'd like to wear shorts. Since shaving was out of the question, I decided to try these on a whim. I am a newbie when it comes to waxing. So I tried them today and I am VERY impressed! Of course, they don't get every single hair, but how amazing would that be? Anyway, so it says to make sure your hair is between 1 and 5 mm or something like that. I eyeballed it and thought, yeah my hairs are long enough. I decided to measure AFTER waxing my left leg. My leg hairs are about 1 cm long! That's probably why it hurts a little more, but the pain is tolerable and short living. When you're ready to pull it off, you just have to not think about it. About once or twice I would think about it for too long. I'm a newbie, what can you do. I've used 3 strips so far, and my left leg still isn't done yet, but I have thick calves, so it's understandable. I was able to use a strip about twice. When I inspected the use strip, I could see the hair roots, which excited me (yeah I'm a dork.) Hopefully the hair will grow back thinner now. The box says to test the wax on your skin first, which I didn't notice until AFTER I waxed. So far nothing bad has happened yet. But keep that in mind if you have sensitive skin. So far, I'm impressed. Will update eventually. UPDATE: So the above I submitted in mid-February and it is now June 6, 2015, about four months later. I have to say that I will never return to shaving. I love how waxing leaves my skin and how my hairs grow back finer. I decided to be bold and use this on my upper lip and it works just as well. I've also used it on my knuckles and underarms. I have not been disappointed. If you're thinking about stopping the razor, this is a good place to start.

Messy and don’t always work
Works pretty well but I had to do multiple strips on one area to try to remove hair and it still wouldn’t remove it. When I pulled apart the strips I would only use one at a time but I noticed if I left the other one exposed to the air for too long, around longer than a minute, it wouldn’t work as well anymore. The wipes work well to get the wax off though. This was my first time waxing my legs with them though so it may have been more painful because of that but they did hurt. It did get annoying and too painful when I had to go over one spot multiple times. I used almost all 40 on just my legs in one session and a one or two on my hands to test them out. Another thing was that the wax would get stuck to my skin a lot which made the hair that it didn’t remove also stuck to my skin which made it even harder to remove when I went over that spot again. Sometimes the strips would pull the hairs out with the roots but not out of the hair follicle itself. What I mean is, sometimes if I just barely pulled on a hair it would come out without any pain or struggle. Like it had already been ripped out but the wax strip wasn’t able to pull it out completely. I had also bought a hard wax kit that requires me to melt wax beads and it was significantly easier and less messy compared to these wax strips. However the hard wax would also take multiple tries but it would at least pull out hair still. After about trying 4 times in one area using the wax strips, they just stopped working so I gave up on my legs using the wax strips. I also did exfoliate my legs physically 2 days prior.

Great waxing strips
It will rip out all the hair you want! I tried on my legs mostly, and a little bit in a more sensitive area. It got all the hairs! I really like that you can use the sheet multiple times before you have to throw it away. The package says you can reuse each strip twice, and I had good results doing that! It's very easy to use. No need to worry about correct temperature or anything like that with waxing. It can leave a little bit of a residue, but it cleans up pretty quickly and easily with some body oil.

So Happy I Tried This
I was genuinely surprised at how well this worked. I had my expectations set pretty low, since I've never attempted to wax at home, but it was easy, the directions were straightforward and the results were great. I had only tested a smatch patch on my leg because I wanted to make sure I didn't have any reaction and I'm trying to see how long it lasts before the hair grows back. I did it right before I went in the shower, and after, I applied coconut oil mixed with a little tea tree oil and I had no irritation or discomfort. It does hurt to pull off the strip, but I figure that's expected.

Brilliant Waxing Strips!!
I have been having my legs waxed at a salon for 35 years, but due to the Coronavirus lockdown, I thought I would try the easygel wax strips. This was my first ever home wax. They are excellent, & removed all of my leg hairs. A lot of reviews state that they do not remove many hairs, & the wax stays on your legs. As long as the strip is rubbed down on the leg for about 10 seconds, before pulling off, it works brilliantly. I also used the same strips twice. My legs are really smooth, with no irritation. The wipes are good at removing any residue, after waxing. I will probably use these strips after lockdown ends, as they are cheaper than salon prices!!
