Dorman 38458 Front Door Hinge Pin And Bushing Kit Compatible with Select Cadillac / Chevrolet / GMC Models

I used this kit to repair the driver's door hinges on my 2007 Avalanche, the job itself isnt fun or easy but this great kit had everything I needed to do the job.

Bought this for my 2011 Sierra2500 hd drivers door. Very poor instructions and no photos to show you how these pieces would fit. I had to figure it out on my own. Took longer than I expected but eventually i did get it installed and works fine.

Product wanted me to install upside down, door wouldn't open that way.

Bought this to replace my squeeky driver lower door hinge on a 2009 Yukon XL 1500 but this is not the correct part. After hours of searching online, youtube, etc I found that almost every major aftermarket website shows the Dorman 38458 but they are all wrong. I even contacted Dorman via email to ask but have not heard back. I found the entire bracket PN 20969645 on another GM site and punched that in to Amazon and got this for about $91 with Prime. Leaving these comments for others that may run into the same problem, but unlike the other review/comment you dont need a "tool" to do this. It seems that GM has change hinges multipl times over the past 15 years and this may fit one of them but dont buy this if your hinge looks like this - "Genuine GM 20969645 Door Hinge, Front, Left, Lower".
