Q: Why do the measurements differ from the product description and the suggested usage ideas? 10 cm x 10 cm vs, 20 cm x 20 cm.

Too small! Should have said 5 inches. I thought they were 10 inches. I suspect they come from a country that uses cm instead of inches for measurements.

These squares are not scraps. They are 100% cotton. All were the same size as described. No duplicates of colors.

Q: When you hold it up to the light or sun can you see light coming throughout?

We utilized them as fabric for masks so we lined them. I checked the gray fabric and you can see light but minimal.
