very expensive for what they do. It just scans/copys. I can buy a full fledged computer for this price. However it scans/copies well and should last quite awhile! Keeper

Best scanner. Super easy to use. Great for organizing your scans in folders. I scan receipts insurance cards, all with ease. We have 10 in our office.

While this scanner is a little pricey, it really does a great job of scanning. I used it along with Quickbooks to scan my receipts. Works perfectly. Both in color and black and white - it captures images as PDFs perfectly. I have not tried photos, however. For documents, receipts and such, this scanner will handle it with ease. Even small receipts feed through with no issues.My only complaint is the price. Then again, this scanner is priced almost identically to any other in this class. So I guess no matter which you choose, you're going to pay between $300 and $400. For me, having those receipts stored as PDFs is worth the $300 I spent.

I bought this for use in my office where I regularly scan documents on a variety of paper types—from standard sheets to card stock—and it handles them all with no problem. Setup was easy, and it scans quickly depending on your DPI settings. My favorite feature is the scanning software—it offers a lot of useful options and makes the process really efficient. I especially love that it automatically deletes blank pages. Overall, it’s been a reliable tool for my office.

I bought this Epson DS-530II scanner to destructively scan textbooks and reference books for myself so I can get rid of my many tubs of books. This thing is awesome! The help documentation doesn't quite match the software and during install it occasionally made references to it being a printer. Overall I was able to set it up for document scanning and book scanning with OCR with the built in software after a little work. I was worried my not-fantastic laptop might get angry with scanning 600-700 page texts, but I have not had any issues. Overall would highly recommend. I saw someone at work with a black scanner of similar model, and I am only sad I did not get this in black. Would highly recommend.
