CO2 Inflator Kit with 16g/ 25g CO2 Cartridges | Presta & Schrader Valve Compatible - CO2 Bike Pump for Road and Mountain Bikes

The wheel/tire set I used this on was a DT Swiss R460db 700c rim with a Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Slick 25c tire and TPU inner tube. When I used this inflation system, I was indoors with an air temp of 60 degrees F. I screwed the cartridge into place at the bottom of the nozzle. No problem. As with anything presta nozzle, the one on this system pressed pretty easily into place over the valve. When I turned the activation lever, the nozzle very briefly leaked a bit of air but almost immediately sealed into place. The tire requires inflation between 100 and 130 PSI. The system filled my tire to just over 100 psi with a more to spare (though I doubt it would be near enough for a second tire). When the CO2 expanded from the cartridge into the presta valve, I got the expected thin icy layer over the cartridge (thanks for the sleeve!) and at the connection between the valve and the nozzle. The rubberized material in the nozzle contracted and gripped the valve to the point I couldn't pull it off. But the and of the nozzle is made to turn freely, which allowed me to essentially "unscrew" the nozzle from the valve with zero loss of air. I used this to inflate my tire in my living room before needing it for the first time on the road. Based off that, I'm confident that it will work great if I need to change out a tube on the road.

This is a great value CO2 inflator kit. It's compact and lightweight, so I can easily carry it in my bike frame bag for emergencies. It works with both Presta and Schrader valves, which is super convenient. For the price, you can't beat the peace of mind it provides on a long ride. Highly recommended

Edit: After working with the seller we were able to understand that we probably received a defective by fluke. They sent another one and we have had no issues. The seller was prompt and even wanted to investigate the failure so they could continue to improve their product. Original post: I bought one and loved it. So I got a second one for my wife. The rubber O-ring ripped the first time she tried to use it. She had to waste 2 CO2 cartridges just to finish the race she was in.

Handy little tool you can carry along on bike rides. Works much better than hand pump.

This inflator works great. I have used it to fill bicycle and motorcycle tires. It probably works well with car tires as well but I haven't tried it with those.

It sucks that amazon give you a returning window open on an item that you can't possibly test unless you need it. When I received the item I tested it with a canister and work. After 4 months I did not have the need to use it so I kept it in my bike and secured in my bag. One day I had 2 flats on gravel and when I tried to use it, I realized this crap was empty. Thinking that just open by mistake, when I hit home after having to knock on someone's home to borrow a pump, I put a new canister and noticed all the CO coming out of the nozzle. Bad product quality. Cheaper is expensive, so instead of buying this rather buy a good one even if it's a Lil more expensive.

I wish the instructions were clearer, but other than that, it's a nice kit to have. I probably will wind up giving them out to people since I also purchased an Airmoto re-chargeable, programmable pump, and likely won't need these, but I guess can never have too many backups.

For the price, this was a great set because it included an inflator kit and cartridges. I unfortunately had to use it on a bike ride shortly after my purchase and found it very easy to use, the cartridges did a great job of filling up the tire and the knob on the inflator kept the cartridge from losing air before it was on the valve. I’ve used another inflator before and had issues with it losing air as soon it was screwed on to the CO2, but not with this one. My husband bought the same kit after using mine.

Did its job well after replacing a tubeless tyre. Sufficient pressure to seal tyre to rim successfully. Small enough to carry in tube bag.

Il prodotto è risultato difettoso: ho bucato una gomma e non ha funzionato nel rigonfiaghio, a causa o di una difettosità sul rubinetto oppure perché le bombole erano vecchie e scariche. Ho usato due bombole ed entrambe non hanno gonfiato la gomma. Prodotto cinese di scarsissima qualità, se non fossi stato in viaggio con una persona in possesso di un prodotto diverso non avrei potuto riparare la foratura.
