This is an amazing dash cam! It takes high quality videos and is easy to navigate. It came with everything needed to mount and had a long power cord. Highly recommend!

Works great! Note it comes with 12v power cord which is useless if you only have USB power. Transcend says it won’t work with USB but if you buy a data blocker adapter it works great. $10 fix. https://a.co/d/00bctvSz

Notice: On a sidenote... Depending on where you reside and your local jurisdiction, the suction mount provided, may be an illegal method to mount this camera on the windshield. Check with your local ordinances, rules and regulations. In my opinion, this is built a bit on the bulky-side. It can draw unnecessary attention, indicating to others, you have a camera. This can be good and/or bad. Not a fan of big/large branding logos on the products itself. The camera itself, is built solid. Camera lens is clear for general purpose day use, but does lack in other aspect. Lens/camera, picture, contrast, color, exposure, settings, are adequate for its intended purpose. Transcend is a solid brand, well known with the PC industry. The memory card it comes with is a 64 Gb Endurance series. The power cable it came with, on the other hand, is the standard straight-plug and not the 90 degree plug, as it's shown in the manual. The camera is packed with features. Please study (with trial-and-error) the online user guide thoroughly to understand each function. The app is useful, but can be improved. Video recordings has time, date, GPS, estimated speedometer and other information. Transferring and obtaining files is somewhat intuitive and easy (either removing the card media and transferring them manually or transferring via the app. Transferring speed is fast. The unit is smart enough to store all previously set settings and powering options will trigger modes you set. The only downside I saw, was during night time use. (Front-facing camera is set to the highest setting - 1080p @60fps) Other vehicle license plates cannot be read unless the camera is within a distance of about ~5 to ~7 feet away (in other words, less than a vehicle's length). This might be due to exposures, but will have to continually test to find out. Daytime videos are somewhat better. Anything past this distance becomes a blur. This happens when headlights are both ON or OFF. When ON, the camera sees the plates as washed-out. When off, the camera has a tough time picking-up letters and number, even with surrounding ambient lighting, other vehicle headlights or other neighboring lighting from streetlights, building lights, etc... This wouldn't be useful in a, say, hit-and-run incident. Rear-facing camera is ok (both day & night use with infrared lighting); can give important details during an accident, but can be improved.

Awesome and easy camera to set up.

Have had this camera for a year, got it hard wired into my car. All of a sudden in the last 2 months, if I put my car in park, the screen freezes.

The best dual dashcam out there. It has a clear vibrant image. For some reason the aftermarket dual USB 12v sockets cannot handle traditional daisy chain dual/triple dashcams and some single units (viofo, redtiger, vantrue, vava). They can however handle this built in dual dashcam. This is only dashcam #2 (out of a dozen) that has reliably worked with that dual usb socket. This is a reliable unit. It has worked through the 0F and 120F Oklahoma heat. One small drawback: the format sd process has to be done 2x every time a format is done.

This is my second Transcend DrivePro, the first one after about 3 years stopped recording - although it said it was recording. Support was not helpful. Decided to upgrade to the newest model and I have not had any issues. Compared to the cheap ones I have tried before that were made in China, this camera is overall good.

Hace unos meses que me la compré y de momento todo perfecto. Es la segunda dash cam de Transcend que tengo, y espero que me dure como la anterior, por cierto la anterior funciona perfectamente. Suelen sacar varias actualizaciones del software de la cámara, para mejorar su funcionamiento. Una cosa a mejorar sería el agarre por ventosa que se coloca en la luna delantera del coche, en días de mucho sol y calor, suele despegarse con facilidad y otra cosa a mejorar sería pulir un poco más el software o firmware del dispositivo.

Installed this in my father-in-law’s car. He likes it because it requires little to no manual interaction to operate. This is the fourth I have bought and installed. I have used footage in a non-fault insurance claim. Would recommend.

Is there any warranty for this one? Purchased last December 2025. But it seems that the internal battery is drain. It keeps resetting and date always change. Also memory card always ask to reformat.
