Maraschino Cherries with Stems, 74 Ounce Jar

Let me start by saying my wife makes great Chocolate covered cherries for Valentine's day, as her 11 customers will attest. After years of my wife buying grocery store cherries and being disappointed in their size, and too many lacking their stems, she bought these cherries. WOW what a difference. This jar had about 140 cherries in it with only 5 lacking their stems. Additionally they were significantly larger. Several recipients of these cherries commented on the size difference. The cherries also had a richer taste to them. She already knows she will have to buy 2 jars for valentines day next year.

We usually get this large jar of cherries at Sam’s Club. When we couldn’t find them we ordered them from Amazon. They are so much better than the little jars you get at grocery stores.

Great product! Showed when they said it would

I was worried after reading some poor reviews, but the jar came in a small box and was packed very well. My husband's favorite dessert is pineapple upside cake so it is cost effective for me to buy a large jar.Many of the cherries are really bit and most have stems. I do not need the stems, but if you do, most of the cherries looked great and had stems. Great product and price when you compare to a small 14 oz jar for $10.

The jar on container on the picture says 170 servings (1 cherry per serving), the one I got although it's the same number of ozs says 120 servings (1 cherry per serving). I guess they removed 50 cherries and added more juice to make up the difference. It's not the end of the world, because I actually use the juice and mix it with drinks, but for those of you who care more about the cherries, you'll be disappointed probably. The cherries are large and plump, more than any other brand I've tried. But the flavor is just ok, not terrible but not amazing. They are sweet but I think I prefer the flavor of the regal brand, but the cherries here are much larger than regal.

Percy is my 28 yr old African Grey parrot & she asks for cherries. I was tired of paying such high prices at the local stores for such small jars so I knew if I checked Amazon I would find what I was looking for. Well...she loves them. She asks for them almost daily.

When I received my pkg, three sides of the box was wet with cherry juice and corner ripped, i opened it and the plastic container was upside down. Lid was soaked with juice, seal was torn and you can see it lost juice. Not sure it's safe to eat them as seal is torn and opened

I love to add these cherries to cakes, frosting, and cereal. But, best of all is in a Manhattan Drink.
