The description "Vacu Vin Wine Saver Concerto - Black - 1 Pump 2 Stoppers - Wine Stoppers for Bottles with Vacuum Pump and Pourer - Reusable - Made in the Netherlands" is incorrect. There is no pourer. The included instructions in the box were for the Vacu Vin Cooler rather than the Wine Saver, but instructions are readily available online and use is pretty obvious other than perhaps people not knowing to pump until they hear a click. The product itself is good! I had purchased an Oxo wine preserver with 2 stoppers, since it was available at a local store, and it was useless; both stoppers lost vacuum in less than one hour. With some trepidation, I decided to order the similar Vacu Vin product. The pump is not as pretty as the Oxo, and the handle is not as comfortable, but functionally the Vacu Vin is far superior to the Oxo. The pump seems to pull more air out in a single stroke. The stoppers have the Vacu Vin feature of making a click when you've reached sufficient vacuum (vs the Oxo just saying to pump until you felt resistance, which was not really sufficient). And, the main thing is, the stoppers actually hold a vacuum! As a test, I sealed an empty bottle on a Tuesday afternoon and checked it the following Saturday morning. It only required 2 pumps to get the click again, so hardly any vacuum leakage.

1, Reason why I chose : I've tried several different bottle caps to keep the left over wine fresh. Finally, sommelier friend told me to give a try on this. 2, Like & Dislike : Well, at the very beginning, how long do you think is a fair period of life time for a $2 rubber cap? One year or 3 years? Before I bought this, I was told that a cap is made our of rubber and it's a consumable goods, so it will not function at some point, that is depending on how frequently I use or how long the cap is with air pressure. So, I understood that and bought it. I first purchased the 4 bottle cap set. We drink half of the bottle (2 glasses) almost daily. So the piece gets set on the bottle every other day. Just to see how it works, I was counting how often and long it was used. One cap was used for a little over 90 times, it started becoming weak. Then it was leaking and died. $2 cap was used over times and last for about 6 month. I thought this wasn't bad at all. Compare to other air sealed caps I've tried in the past, it is well worth the price. At least, while the cap was in operable condition, we were enjoying great many bottles of wines in same great taste. After 6 month of purchase, I knew this thing would keep the left over wine fresh for at least few days, so I was no longer worried to open several wines at the dinner especially when we were invite friends. For our usage, this would keep the wine quality great for 2 to 3 days. It is deepening on wines, but that's our average. So, I try not use this for more than 3 days. Pumping device has been working for over 500 bottles without any problems. Top handle shaped kind of stylish. So, I've been careful to hold the handle as I pump, especially toward the end of pump when there is less air to pump out. I should say this is made pretty durable. This may effect manufacture's marketing tactics, but they could be honest and indicate average life of rubber cap. So, buyers are aware of how long they could use in good working condition. 3, Recommend this product to : Anyone from professionals to home users.

This replaced an old device which never worked. This one works well, and you even hear a slight "click" when it fully removes the air inside the bottle. Highly recommend.

Works pretty well, if you use it correctly and before the wine sits out too long.

Wish we would have purchased one of these years ago! Seal is great. Easy to use. and the price is right. No problem with leaks if it is standing upright, I don't know if it would work if the bottle was laying on its side. Would definitely give this as a gift to one of my wine drinking friends!

I originally purchased one last July. I have a restaurant so I used it daily lasted almost an entire year. Finally broke on me. Last week I replaced with a new one and it broke in the first use. Received a replacement and it broke again. Extremely disappointed in the quality they are now providing

I've had this product for years. Then, I purchased another and extra stoppers after a divorce and I gave the vacuum Vin to the ex. Can't live with out this amazing little item. It is super easy to use and effective in preserving the wine's use-by date. My regular wine usually goes off within 3-4 days without a Vacu Vin stopper. By using the Vacuum Vin, I get an extra 7-10 days (sometime even 14!!). It's incredible. I don't drink much on my own, so this is a great way of saving the wine so it doesn't go off and go to waste. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sono un amante del buon vino ma ne consumo molto poco (max 1 bottiglia a settimana) quindi mi capitava di aprire una bottiglia, berne meno della metà e doverla buttare poiché il vino si era ossidato. Questo prodotto è una valida soluzione al mantenimento del vino in bottiglia. Così una bottiglia dura diversi giorni. Il vino si conserva bene. Il mio consiglio però è di tenere la bottiglia non oltre i 7 giorni poiché il sistema non riesce a togliere tutta l'aria dalla bottiglia. Infatti, ne rimane comunque una parte e il vino si sciupa lo stesso. COME FUNZIONA Quando si toglie l'aria dalle bottiglie e si arriva al vuoto, la pompetta fa una serie di tic, per far capire che tutta l'aria che si poteva tirare è uscita. PRODOTTI ABBINABILI Ho trovato il prodotto molto utile ed interessante soprattutto abbinandolo ad altri prodotti (acquistabili anche essi su Amazon): 1) Vacuvin support salva vino. Si tratta di versatori salvagoccia colorati 2) Vacuvin tappi per il vuoto. Si tratta di tappi per il vuoto, come quelli nella confezione. La particolarità è che sono colorati (Rosso, blu e fucsia). Danno un tocco di colore e possono identificare il tipo di vino. 3) WMF 06.5851.6030 Termometro vino a clip. Si tratta di un termometro a clip che si attacca facilmente alla bottiglia e permette di misurare e controllare, in ogni momento, la temperatura del vino per garantire che venga servito sempre alla temperatura migliore. CONCLUSIONI Consiglio l'acquisto di questo prodotto, anche in abbinamento con gli articoli elencati sopra.

これ本来はワインに使うものなんでしょうが、我が家では日本酒に使っています。美味しい日本酒は開け口が一番おいしいですが冷蔵庫に保管しても時間とともに味が落ち始めてしまいます。これを使用すると若干それを防いでくれるようで重宝します。
